I wonder how popular Harry Potter is in Japan.

When you think about it, it is weird that an anime of HP hasn't been made yet. Shit, there's an anime based on Supernatural.

I imagine it's very popular. Soon after the Potter crazy hit there were several anime series using the whole magical academy set up. Plus I knew a guy from Japan who told me there were lines going round the block over there to buy the latest book.
