If Harry Potter was made into an anime

Pretty cool but then again the Supernatural(tv series) anime was meh.

great just what i need, another one of my niches invaded by overly hyped fangirls that wont do me.... but seriously i vote meh, chances are they might ruin it, like make fred and george gay or some other useless crap to draw in more viewers

Under the assumption there is an Harry Potter anime of some kind, I'm not quite sure how to feel about that. It's the kind of thing that if it does really well it would bring anime closer to mainstream western media. I don't want that but the picture looks very good.

Love Harry Potter and love this picture, but I don't think an anime could truly capture a lot of the moments and emotions that I experienced with Harry Potter. I mean, the movies didn't even really do a good job of it and J.K. Rowling was an active participant (to an extent) on those.

I think an anime Harry Potter would diminish the qualities of the story and make it into some sort of circus. While I don't doubt that it would become insanely popular and a pretty good way to reel in the younger generations into getting into it, I honestly, truly believe it would ruin it for most of the older fans.

I already saw this and it fascinated me, but the thing about an animated series is a no for me.
