Furries appear to be the "in" thing for anime titles these days.
Even though I have not read the light novels nor the manga, it is evident from websites that quite a few anime fans (and perhaps that of the furry category) are looking forward to Kanokon. According to wikipedia and other sources, the storyline follows that of Kouta Oyamada, meeting two beautiful females, Chizuru Minamoto, a busty fox deity, and Nozomu Ezomori, a slightly less busty, maybe even DFC, wolf deity, in the high school he attends.
What more can one ask for in an anime with foxgirls and wolfgirls in school uniforms... maybe with the exception of an excellent storyline and character development. :D

I saw this on the poster that showed all of the titles coming out in spring and caught up with it. This show is just up my alley.

Yeah, just watched the first EP, and it was pretty hot even for a fanservice show. I imagine there will be quite an explosion of doujins for this show coming soon.

In terms of theme and such this anime TOTALLY reminds me of Mamoru-kun ni Megami no Shukufuku wo! The only difference being that instead of "Beatrice" powers they are animal spirits, and that there is a TON more fanservice. That said, I can dig it, I was just thinking of what show it reminded me of, and it finally just came to me.
Almost same exact premise, random hot girl with super powers that's kind of a deliquent confesses to shoto-con type boy, they start dating, loli girl with silver hair and super powers shows up and becomes competition for the boy. I don't know if the silver haired loli is a yandere as well, but if so that's even more of a straight rip-off. Of course again, Kanokon is much more mature in content with much more sex and...other stuff, so I'm not complaining, it's just kinda crazy how closely it mirrors Mamoru-kun.

I don't think I'll download this...It looks like the main point of the series is fanservice...I think I'm through with those kinds of series...

Like, the main character isn't just teased the whole time. In the first EP she gets him almost fully naked while sitting on him 1/2 naked herself as a fox, and then at the end they leave it in a way that leaves you to believe they are doing the deed. Either way if you can't appreciate a decent fanservice show (don't really know if this one is or not yet) then I pity you!

Does anyone else see the irony of a bunch of guys talking about an ecchi anime when we're on a Hentai site? I wonder if it's because H-anime/manga doesn't "tease" us ...
Anyway, Kanokon looks to be a nice anime to watch right after/before watching ToLoveRu. Let the ecchi parade begin!

There's a lot of fan serivice... so much so that i'm worried it will be problematic when come time for story elaborations...
And as everyone know the more 'fanservice' there is, the less likely many doujins will be made from it... and that's a shame considering the foxgirl is so hot...

Anyway, I watched the first episode. It's better animated than what I expected, I think it's even better animated than ToLoveRu. I'm not expecting plot, so I guess this is just a 'guilty pleasure' of mine without the guilt. The difference right now between the two series is that ToLoveRu is more about showing as much nudity as possible and Kanokon is about getting the two characters as close to having sex as possible.

I'm not saying that there wont be any doujins at all... All I'm saying is that there will probably be less due to a possible lack of interest on the artist's side ... If you compare Girls Bravo extreme amounts of fanservice, to any normal fighting(no or very litle romance let alone fanservice) tjere will probably be more doujins made for the no fan service one because it invokes more curiosity...
Ex. Kenichi vs. Naruto; two fighting anime with hot woman, (admittedly, naruto is more coherent than kenichi) Naruto has hot anime girls yet doesn't develop on romance or relationships and just leaves it to our imaginations (and very litle fanservice except in some of the earlier scenes when naruto and the sage were being perverted), however Kenichi has fanservice to be excpected every episode. Why does Naruto have more hentai? ... (unincluding the massive difference in popularity)

If it's popular, it almost certainly gets doujins. It irks me that Chobits has more doujins than DearS, even though DearS is a walking doujin parody!
Anyway, the second episode of Kanokon has cemented my love for the series because of its hilarious script. I don't know why I prefer this particular script over some by other Ecchi anime, but I do. There is a distinct lack of furry tails and ears in this episode though.
I also think that any female that watches this will become a shotacon.

I might've considered it if I weren't courting about a dozen shows at this point but I tend to get very bored with soft-core hentai shows. The only one I picked up right out of the gate and stuck to was Umisho and even that was actually a decent show since it wasn't annoying harem bullshit with everyone hitting on a loser that's totally oblivious to everything.
And a tail and ears isn't furry. It seems that only qualifies as furry when everyone has their defences down and the distinction is only present when neko fans don't want to get steamrolled in anti-furry tirades.

It isn't a great show and it is pretty much fanservice with a side of furry ears and furry tails. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. But hey, if I'm entertained, it doesn't really matter to me. If you're not entertained, well, no one is forcing you to watch it, go watch much better shows than this.

Well it really depends whether your the tease able type of person, you see actually when we watch this kind of anime it actually teases us and making us itch and hoping there would be a sex scene which we don't actually know will there be one or not either way, if your not tease able then this is not a suitable anime for you...
