Kanon Remake

This is one of my favorite animes, second only to Clannad and Clannad After Story (they count as 1 anime for me).
I haven't seen the '02 version, just the '06. who knows, maybe they'll make a 2010 release :)

I Love Kanon, It make's me cry a lot

I've started watching the 2002 version tonight, and after 3 episodes I feel raped in the broad light. Most of the voice actors are the same as in the KyoAni version, but they do a lot worse job. The plot is, well, in Europe we'd call it "Written for Americans" (no offence intended).

But I have the feeling it's a good anime, although I won't be ever able to fully admit it, as I know the 2006 God-like version.

Then you should most definitely finish it.

Yeah, so I just watched this for the second time a few days ago... Man, I forgot how much I enjoyed this anime. First time through (At least a year and a half ago), I was holycrapwtfbbq for Makoto, but this time through I gained much more appreciation for Mai and Ayu, too, and though Shiori and Nayuki weren't my favorites, they're both still adorable. It's indicative of the quality of this anime that I can't decide who I like best out of Mai, Makoto, and Ayu, and then Shiori is closely behind Nayuki.

And the music really hit me this time... Especially the ending theme and Mai's theme... I've got the full ending on my iPod, but I can't find a version of some of the music from inside the anime (like Mai's theme).

Ugh... I wish there was more of it, dammit!

And yeah, I just finished Kanon about two months ago. I enjoyed it a lot, and Akiko Minase is one of the best MILF's I've ever seen. :)

I wonder if it's fair to say that many people have watched Kanon because of Clannad... it's certainly why I re-watched it, at least.

Oh, definitely. I don't believe that I would have watched Kanon if it wasn't for Clannad. Heck, I didn't even know about KEY before Clannad so it definitely got me into their stuff.

That made me remember I've watched Air TV without knowing it was from KEY, KEY is full of awesomeness.

Okay, I JUST finished watching this series like 5 minutes ago.

THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL. Rarely does an Anime make me cry, and I teared up quite a few times during this. I'm trying to find the OVA now.

I have a question, but I dunno if I should post it without making a spoiler first since it involves the ending.

What do you mean "rest of the series?" It was in the last episode. Anyway, I'm going to lemon the fuck out of this series. It's such a simple one to do. Also, even though I've watched it all subbed - This anime was so goddamn beautiful that I'm buying the box set. Just to show my support.

Well, I mean the parts before it. It's like my only qualm with the series.
