Kanon Remake

I was thinking and a few more things came to mind.
Spoiler:

I haven't seen the OVA (I can't find it and the reviews are horrible, so I'll ask) - Did Ayu and Yuuichi end up together? I hope so, uguu~.

When Ayu was in the wheelchair at the end of the series, did she know everything that had happened before from being in spirit form (or dreaming or whatever) ?

The (older?) Makoto that saved Yuuichi from freezing to death - Was that the same Makoto from earlier in the series? The bells made me think so, but I wasn't 100% on it.


Answers, please? I have plenty more questions but I don't wanna ask too much.

I just saw the OVA ... Either the original Kanon sucked ass or was epic because I had NO FUCKING IDEA what was going on. I know that in the remake, Nayuki didn't "confess her feelings" to Yuuichi - She DID, but they were children and he never brought it up. Also, Makoto just randomly appears with no explanation - Now I wonder how different the two versions of the series are. I might go look up the original just to see what it was like, it had to be difference in SOME form besides animation quality.

Haven't watch the original and went to the 2006 remake.
KEY/Visual Arts made an epic anime in combining all the routes and the essentials.
They almost didn't miss anything in the game except the H-scenes.
BTW Mai fan FOREVER!
