I'm sure some of you know of this light nove/anime. Written by the same guy who write Bakemonogatari, it's been made into anime thats to be aired for 12 months, and only one episode once a month.
The first episode has recently aired so i'm betting some of you have seen it.
I personally found it enjoyable, you sort of get a bakemonogatari feeling when watching it due to the amount of dialogue and the interactions between characters, so there was little action this episode, but when there was it was pretty cool to see.
Oh and the music so far is quite awesome, I believe it's by the same person who did Gurren Lagann's music, so we're in for a treat :P

Its a shame.
I wanted to make a discussion thread which didn't suck ass but here I find its already been made.
I assume Hermit and his ragtag group will "set up shop" in this thread eventually seeing as how this series was produced by the same people who did Bakemonogatari and I know everyone went gay over that awful series.
I am very particulate over the series I watch. If I find for the first scene to be lacking I'll most likely drop the series as I have done numerous times.
Coming into this series I was greeted with great music, visuals, and questions as to what is going on. The show has so far gripped my attention but that is not to say that it won't crash and burn later on.
Its odd. The scene between brother and sister was pissing me off due to the slow progression but I couldn't bring myself to skip through it. I don't know if its the pleasing visuals or that I'm actually interested in what they were discussing...
I'm afriad.
Well there is that feeling again. He meets the white haired bitch, who I'll wait for a doujin of, and to make the conversation seem more flowing they keep switching from face to face and sceneries in the background. Its becoming very bothersome.
This isn't a fucking audio recording.
Well I think I'll enjoy the subtle comedy of the series if it remains subtle. I can image very easily this show turning into a full blown shitty comedy because all anime is shit now.

Well I have to say they did a good job with the conversation between the white haired bitch, who I'll wait for a doujin of, and the other two, who I won't be waiting for a doujin of, because I really felt no urge to skip through that conversation.
Enjoyed the fight. Series seems promising but will my interest survive every month...?

I ended up skipping through the last sixteen minutes of the episode.

Seriously (and for a ton of reasons actually) but mainly because of how well it was said, regardless of some factual inconsistencies –one of which important to note that the only thing in common between the two aforementioned series is their creator, NisiOisin. Also, I always thought of you, Harmonian, as a member of that "ragtag group" I once founded.
I was laughing so much I’d forgotten what I was about to say pertaining to what it is I saw. Something about a weird feeling regarding some of the more humorously-intended retorts and their predictability, and the romantic-side of the plot -- something that was quite similarly delivered/portrayed with such ludicrousness.
It’s amusing, maybe a little more than what I had initially signed for, but that is not to say it’s amusing enough to keep me entertained all throughout the year.

The OP and ED were really awesome and fitting in my opinion.

I watched the first episode, but I'm holding onto my pants for now. So far, it's not bad, and as a bonus, there was a damsel-in-distress scene ftw.

Episode 2 made me realize how hard it is to come up with a catchphrase. Also, I'm pretty sure there were Zaregoto and Bakemonogatari references.

I picked up on this series when it first came out, it seemed promising so I kept onto it. I'll probably download episode 2 later.

Not bad, I liked the first two episodes but there wasn't enough room for silence. Everyone was jabbering their mouths and sometimes say unnessesary things:
"I hope you're prepared, cuz I got a ultimate move."
"Oh? I also would like to let you know that I too have a secret technique."
"Well I also have a backup plan but before we fight, let us discuss about random crap that viewers don't give a shit about."

I was enjoying the series until they got to the "views" part. I understand it was suppose to be comedy but the story just halted there, they weren't even moving.
I've noticed this trend throughout the first episode as well so I'm guessing this shit will happen every episode.

I liked the second episode sort of, although I got slightly annoyed, I don't mind lots of talking but whenever it seemd action was going to get started it only meant for more dialogue to start, and in the end the fight wasn't very long or amazing.
I hope in the coming episodes that the dialogue isn't as heavy and that the action isn't delayed and then incredibly short.

i wouldn't count on it, bakamonogatari was centered on dialogue, i don't expect this one to be majorly different from it

i wouldn't count on it, bakamonogatari was centered on dialogue, i don't expect this one to be majorly different from it
For some reason I liked it in Bakemonogatari, and when the action started (although very little it has) wasn't interrupted or delayed with dialogue. I think I just need to get to know these characters better, they aren't that enjoyable just yet.

Well I enjoyed this episode more than the previous one, although there's still not a huge amount of action it didn't bother me this time round, I'm starting to like the characters more and it's interesting to see that the opponents have a backstory and character, rather than just some evil dude to killed.
Also I'm surprised Shichika was the one who killed his dad? Wonder if that will be looked into with the future episodes.
Although the next episode looks set to be amazing, looks like a lot of action is coming our way, and I've been it itching to see how strong Shichika truly is, and how much potential he holds.
