but the chinese/japanese use this method because in the old times they used pergamis or scrolls which opened up sideways and if they wrote from left to right they would have to fully open the scroll to read if it were a brand new scroll, so they used writting right to left cus that's the first piece you see whe you open up a scroll and aslo if they wrote sideways you would have to fully open up the scroll that's why they writte up to down

Sorry? not getting what you're trying to say. Are you implying that if what I said was true we should read uh, left to top? Meh either way, I can't validate what the tutor (too lazy to google, just woke up) said but it seems noteworthy.
As for me personally reading doujins right to left seems normal but if I saw it anywhere else I'd probably not enjoy it.
