but if I had to choose at gun point probably Azu manga seeing as it has Tomo and she is awesome and Osaka as well. I mean I love lucky star to bits but it is surgery cuteness of death sometimes, and you have to admit that there is a plot there... somewhere if you look hard enough, and even though both came from shorts the Azu manga Anime does has a pretty decent and coherent plot.
oh and it has nekkokenekko so yeah win :3

How can any deny the Lord of the Yen.
Plus when watching Azumanga Daiho I don't have to feel guilty about recognizing references like I do with Lucky Star.

I voted lucky star for the cuteness and more entertaining scenes they had in the anime.
But though storywise Azumanga is more realistic and pretty much deals about the growing up years in highschool of female friends until they graduated.
As for Turkey Bacon...Well Iam out for pizza anyways. lol

Read Azumanga Daioh. Reading/Watched Lucky Star.Given different mediums, I'm going with Lucky Star. However the Lucky Star Anime was more entertaining than the manga. Lucky Star was a huge...franchise. It had character CDs, various posters, trickets, figurines and it even had a game... probably not the best game though.
Reading the AD manga was very entertaining. All my classmates read it and we laughed at most of the jokes. The LS manga is a bit bland. There isn't much about it that stands out from it but I still like it. I read it leisurely.
This is what I've got.

Haven't watch Lucky Star and not interested to watch it for the future ... therefore, i think i cannot vote.
But Azumanga Daioh is one of the greatest school life anime/manga i ever watch/read. Got a good laugh and moral as well.
Osaka still my favorite for Azumanga Daioh. Since until now, i still don't know whether she is so freaking genius or perhaps just plain dumb.

Wow,really difficult choice for me, Azumanga Daioh is funny as hell (Anime wise, I haven't read the manga yet), Lucky Star has got THE BEST example of Otaku in any anime I ever watched (Izumi Konata FTW).
