Well, thought I may as well start doing more than replying so, here I am recommending another manga for you all to read and perhaps enjoy like I do. "Kurohime" as VIZ has entitled it, is the story of a 12 year old boy called Zero who handles four guns and fights for the side of justice, as he was saved years earlier by our title character, Kurohime, and vows to fight for all that is good (yeah, yeah, but it's fine). Kurohime, sometime after rescuing Zero from an untimely fate, goes to war with the gods and has her memories and her power to create "witch bullets" to do just about whatever she could want (though not without consequences for forbidden deeds) taken away by "the guys upstairs" and is imprisoned inside a 10 year old's body (no, back off Raze =P), and meets up with our hero Zero (no joke intended) and so the plot unfolds. I've only read up to the 4th book (which is all they've released so far), and is quite light-hearted with quite a few battles. It supposedly takes a very interesting twist, which comes up at the end of 4th book, and becomes significantly darker and more serious, though I'm not going to spoil it for you guys reading this (you can go spoil it for yourselves if you want, but I would have much rather been left on the cliffhanger). I probably haven't done a good enough job of describing it, but hopefully you guys will give it a go just the same if you see it around. Anyways, it's pretty awesome so far, and it can only get better (I hope). By the way, no anime yet, even though Japan is up to volume 13 T_T

necrobump, but i'll post cuz this is my favorite manga. i love kurohime! the storyline is amazingly unique and it's fucking hilarious! i just wish they'd release faster. 34 chapters isn't enough! i wanna see zero again!

Thank gods this thread isn't dead yet and there are more people joining us. Well, I finally read the 9th volume, and it's such a massive cliffhanger for me to wait five months between releases, so screw it, I'm going to read scanlations again and buy the books later. Damn the addictiveness of good manga...

a little off topic but does anyone have the stuff after chapter 38 but before volume 15, i really like this manga and am wondering y i can't find it. is it not post and if so y is volume 15 stuff out ????? am confused

I'm sure you could find it on Onemanga or Mangafox etc, but the scanlators' sites will be better. Failing that, Google shouldn't fail you.

This is by far one of my favorite manga series especialy since it is based on romance and with everything that happend in the later chapters

So I just started reading Kurohime here fairly recently. The main reason being I bought volumes 8 - 13 at a Borders book store that was having a going out business 65% off sale. I've spent the last few days reading the earlier chapters on One Manga and am finally at volume 8.

At first it seemed like it would just be another one of those action/ecchi manga but it turned out to be so much more.

From what I've read so far I just feel so sad about what Kurohime's gone through. Sometimes I wish I could go in there just to give her a shoulder to cry on because it's obvious she's in so much pain.

ohh..this manga is great...good art work..good story....and has girls with big breasts.... ;3
