Most Disappointing Adaption

You know how sometimes you're reading a book or manga and you think "Wow this is so awesome. It would be great if it got turned into a movie/anime", but then the awaited day came and you think "WTF, this is the biggest shit I've ever seen."

In your opinion, what adaption were you most disappointed in? Could be anything from live movies to anime.

Imo, Negima's up there with disappointing adaptions along with Zero no Tsukaima.

Easily, EASILY!!!.... Freezing. That was god awful.

IMO Freezing wasn't that good in the first place, but I know what you're talking about. The anime too any redeeming qualities of Freezing and replaced it with Unlimited Censored Boobies Works.

My only hope is that they won't screw up or rush the Sword Art Online anime adaption. The story is cliched beyond imagine, but its writing style and trope usage is so good, it's awesome.

The Tsukihime adaptation most people won't even admit it exists.

For me, it had to be the Gantz anime. Simply because the manga blows the rushed anime's story out of the water later after the Buddhist arc and I quickly wanted to forget the anime ever existed because of the ending.

Majikoi - It was just god awful. Only good ep was the first one.
Yumekui Merry - The anime didn't capture the emotion like it did in the manga. Like when Yumeji found out the Prez was...."possessed" the anime just showed him surprised whereas the manga showed him being filled with anger.
Clannad - yeah, it was a good anime, but an even better VN. Can't believe they didn't include Kappei. Missed some of the most important parts for the Kyou OVA as well.
Kill Me Baby - I really like this one, but the tsukkomi's lack timing. And they didn't do the ESP joke like they did in the 4-koma.

I don't know if it's either some mangas aren't suppose to have anime or the quality of the anime is just shit.

i don't watch anime that are adapted from mangas except a few.
And I would say from those few that the anime is just fine.

[font=segoe print bold]Not sure what you saw there, but from where I sat watching, it looked like they perfectly adapted everything from the manga down to the last scene with no filers. But meh, I've seen it quite some time ago. My memories might be a bit hazy.
