Short personal Advice:
Don`t watch the Anime, rather read the Manga.
The Anime Ending is disappointing in so many ways. I really regret watching it.
Don`t understand me wrong, the Chara Design is good and i enjoyed watching it to some extend, but they really messed up the Storyline.
Im still wondering, what we will see in the Second Season.

Bottom line. Don't read the manga first, or preferably at all, and you'll be a much happier anime watcher. :)

Having read and watch both, I still say the anime can stand on it's own, on par with the manga. You either get case 1, anime owns manga, or case 2, manga stomps anime. Sometimes, you get a case of equality, and I think Claymore does that.

I can go with what G-money is saying in the sense that the anime series and the manga can hold their own. And yea, i really wonder what they will be doing with the anime as a second season (if the rumors hold true)

Ancient Necro alert. I highly doubt there will be a second season.. ever. Since they killed the storyline mostly at the end of the anime.. they can't just start again , they'de have to come up with new shit and I doubt they will do that.

I've just finished this anime today, and I'm sad to see it end. This was an awesome show and I want moar claymore! :D

They should make OVAs like they did for Hellsing. In fact, I wish they'd do that for a lot of anime that went wrong.

Re-read the battle of pieta when you do, they changed it somewhat in the anime, for the worse.

Ahh yes one of my top ten favorite anime's. I even made AMV's off of it. I was so happy when it turned out that episode 25 and 26 were not story related because it was lame. It was inconsistent with the storyline. It had holes and it made no sense. To top things off it had errors that made all that you seen up to that point meaningless. I HIGHLY recommend all claymore fans to read the manga from start to finish. Also read the ES volumes.

I really should - rep you KingGloom. Dont necrobump a topic that says "New Anime: Claymore" when the anime is like 3 years old. I thought there was like some sort of remake or continuation coming out.
But I wont, cuz my precious reps are needed elsewhere.
