New Code Geass Project announced!

Well Lelouch is technically dead and Suzaku is Zero for all intents and purposes, so just because it is signed Zero does not mean that we will ever see Ledouche.



I could see that happening, and indeed it would suck, though he did become more awesome towards the end of the series.

Anyway, what I think we will see happen is perhaps crazy reporter guy, sorry forgot his name, is so obsessed with Lelouch still being alive that he inadvertently reveals the truth of Zero's Requiem to the world, sparking the "Orange" Rebellion. Meanwhile, the geass society is reborn and begins to send their subjects out to search for C.C., kidnapping Nunally as bait. All the while Zero II must try to put down the Orange rebellion, save Nunally, and prove that he really is Zero by catching and killing Suzaku [and as we remember he is Suzaku]. All the while he will be emo, which will suck. He might even be dating Kallen, though I could see her still pining secretly for Lelouch. And there will probably be some sort of crappy Ashford Academy hijinks to lighten things up. But what will drive everyone watching insane is that every episode will imply that Lelouch really is alive, thus getting our hopes up.

This will lead to the very last episode, in which Lelouch, Yoda, Vader, Qui Gon, and Obiwan will be sitting all spectral like by a campfire with the kampfer entrail animals playing some crappy "remastered" ending theme. This will really piss us all off until the prequel trilogy of Code Geass comes out. But sadly we will still sit through it, desperately trying to remember why we liked this franchise in the first place anyway...

Plus gg announced that if this is an anime they will sub it.

Yoda, Vader, Qui-Gon, and Obi-wan are so much more awesome than Lelouche, but I can't fault Lelouche for the ending he was able to achieve in R2.

I'd personally like to see something along the lines of what ZeroOBK mentioned, with myself leaning more towards the aftermath of Zero Requiem.

I wouldn't mind at all if this was a new anime series that restarted the series and did a lot of things differently. I've heard that the second season wasn't the way the director originally wanted, though I'm not sure if that's at all true, and there were some problems with the second season, even if it was still enjoyable.

What do you need to do to gain Code, thus immortality? Hmm, what could it possibly be... I fucking knew it... oh yes, you need to DIE. To be dead. Dead. Very dead. and then be reborn.
So much for the "dead or alive" chatter. Everything is possible.

My favourite scenario would be S3 with Lelouch, but making a season focused on his parents' story or C.C.'s gaining Geass and Code would be awesome too.

Now it's probably the best time to rewatch R1&R2 on those BD rips I found the other day.

Its probably going to be like a movie or something... maybe lulu is still alive and is a supporting character while Syaoran is the main character.

Well, seriously, tell me why not. One think I've learned after watching shitloads of shows, be it anime or not: there's always a plothole for the dead to return. And here it would not even be a plothole at all, ffs.
Not to mention that "Lelouch is dead." does not mean the same as "Lelouch died.", or (to stop all fanfiction) "Lelouch did not gain Code and his death is permanent."


Yes I am, and rest assured that I'm really proud of it. Not just because of this, trust me.
Call it personal prefference or w/e, but I would surely appreciate S3 as a continuation after Zero Requiem, although it's unlikely and I can't really imagine what would be possibly plot.

I do not want to see an R3. If this was an OVA where it just shows what happens after the Zero Requiem, then I suppose I'd be ok with it. If this is an R3, then things will go as bad as Gundam SEED Destiny.

Tell me when you believe that you can fly. I'll be sure to find you and throw you off of the tallest building around.
