Yeah, it sucks. There's really no telling what the show will be like. But I did see this on Wikipedia, quoting Anime News Network articles:Earlier speculation from a purported document leaks has Bones again acting as the production company and Yasuhiro Irie is announced to be series director.
So, the second series should still be good, if the people making it are the same.
That is all we can hope for. They set the bar pretty high for themselves. It's like "you set a new record...now break that record". Here's hoping

I don't really care about this series, whether if it's going to be a sequel or a remake whatsoever, the only thing that concerns me is ^that!
So does that mean REVY's gonna have a different seiyuu as well for the upcoming 3rd season of Black Lagoon?! (I've heard a rumor about it awhile back)
for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, Winry's former seiyuu, Megumi Toyoguchi, also "voiced" Revy in Black Lagoon.
What's up with all the new casting?! Have the former seiyuus who were replaced, retired already? Surely, they haven't died altogether in some sort of freak accident or did they? Is it as simple as about expiration of contract? I just don't get it... :roll: (not that I care) except for Megumi... I just can't imagine anyone else as Revy's seiyuu.

Chances are she couldn't take the role simply because of scheduling conflicts (such as Revy) so I wouldn't worry too much.
I never watched FMA subbed, so I have no connection to certain voice actors which is probably good in this case. I wonder what they're going to do when the dub in it english though.

@GSDAkatsuki: I actually liked the anime, but I'd rather see a continuation of it than a totally new season starting from ground zero.@Fiery penguin: Ed's dad was over on the other side, and with his son they built his prosthetic/machine arms and legs together.
i believe it's going in the direction of the manga this time. it's going to follow the manga this time and not delve into the anime. i personally liked the manga better, even though the anime is my favorite anime of all time.
