Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu

Been watching this in an anime club I'm part of. We saw the first 4 eps, but I think it's getting the boot now, as some of our female members are a bit disgusted with the gratuitous fanservice.
Personally I find it somewhat amusing, though pretty predictable, and similar to a lot of other anime in the genre (though the girl Otaku bit is kinda funny). Largely it's not really my kind of show, but I've seen enough that I may keep watching on my own. It's good for laughs anyway.

Either there is little to no fanservice, or there is a whole lot of it constantly. This is right in the middle.

Yeah, I'd say you've probably been desensitized by Fakku :D
Everyone in club has had a pretty broad exposure to a lot of anime, and while a lot of us don't mind the fanservice at all, we still see it there in large amounts... I dunno, just my perception.

the relationship just finally started and
there wasnt really any conflict between Haruka and that other girl. :/
damn. 09 needs to get here faster.. but wait a bit while stopping for Christmas :3

Nonetheless I am curious about how the storyline of secret female otaku can continue for so long. There must be some twists and turns along the way, apart from the romance aspect.

And on the subject of the light novels, they could probably stretch out a whole bunch of stuff, and include the other girl getting involved in the relationship.
