Luffy Rampage? Good old trick to kill someone off to gain new powers

this shit finally got awesome again.

Well i taught ace wasnt dead he was just really badly hurt but i guess i was wrong so all those chapters trying to save him and he ends up dying it was sad to see him die now luffy is going to go beserk and own the marines. Great Chapter

I...I just can't believe that Ace is really dead and now Luffy is going to do the old and used totally unstoppable when pissed off thing. If Luffy starts to just beat the shit out of the people so clearly more powerful then him I'm gonna be seriously disappointed.

Though still a good chapter by itself, and were one step closer to reuniting the crew.

I find it ironic that Ace is dead.. they went through all that trouble to save ace especially luffy but because of luffy ace got killed.

I'm expecting him to go on a rampage but im more curious about what whitebeard is gonna do.. Maybe kill everyone x_x

Before, Luffy runs away and avoid direct confrontation with rines if possible, but after this, I am not so sure.

I'm so sad that Ace is dead... and after they went through all that trouble to get to him... damn that jackass with the lava powers. Whitebeard's probably going to tell Luffy to gtfo while he wrecks the Marines for killing his "son"... but damn, poor Ace...

I didn't think he had the testicular fortitude to do it but... Well done Oda. Keeping us guessing shit until he does the unpredictable, finally killing off a character after more than 10 years. I'm hoping that Luffy will go through a mature growth after this and maybe get some action with Hancock.
I consider this good story writing because in most Shonens through a scenario like so, the hero sacrifices so much and we will believe that he'll get it right in the end. This just shows realistically that not everything will go according to plan and a slip up is always possible.

Luffy will be able to control his haki now. And whitebeard is gonna rage.

I suppose this was supposed to be an emotional moment...but i felt absolutely nothing.

I don't think Luffy will go crazy and kick everyone's ass. The situation has progressed too far. I agree with Yuri about the Haki explosion; some people will fall to their knees, maybe even pass out, and then his allies will drag Luffy away while Whitebeard really fucks shit up.

As for Ace . . .

So Oda really did kill him in the end... I really didn't expect he would have guts to do it. Shit will be interesting next week.

well, either luffy will get a new ability like gear four, or get rescued and not be able to fight for aces death. ace was a good guy, its a shame.

I believe its gonna be Whitebeard who's going to do all the ass kicking from here on.. If luffy fought he could die from all the damage he already took and I don't think people are gonna let that happen

or maybe Garp might break free and just destroy things

I can;t beleive Ace die from getting burned by lava and I though one piece character never die in any fight.I feel sad seeing ace killed by the lava guy. Hope the lava guy
die get slash or chop by whitebeard.
