One Piece and Naruto

Well Im out of things to really argue about, (filler wise). So its whatever anime/manga you have been seeing longer or the one you would rather keep watching if you had to choose if you like both.

My vote goes to One Piece as it is my all time favorite manga series, always has been, all ways will be~!

Are you saying that Naruto is #1, and always has been? That simply is not true. In Japan, One Piece has consistently been higher than Naruto. As for America, Naruto has always been ranked higher, but that's partly because the anime of One Piece got butchered by 4Kids, leading many to believe that the series was horrible.

I like both series, but while I do like One Piece more, I think it's just an opinion sort of thing. You can argue until you're blue in the fact that one is better than the other, but they're two completely different series that take different approaches and do different things. Comparing them is like comparing apples and oranges; yeah, they're both fruit, but they're really fucking different.

I like the humor in One Piece and the very shonen feel. It's unrealistic and exaggerated, but that's part of the fun. Also, One Piece has made me cry many, many times. I don't think Naruto has ever done that to me.

No but seriously, since the One piece anime, unlike Naruto & Bleach, had fillers incorporated into it's cannon since episode 1 i dropped it fairly early, around the Arabasta arc arc or so, so i suppose i missed these moments of sadness.
And music + animation usually translates sad feelings alot better than a steril drawing, usually though, not always.

I wouldn't mind if anyone would hit me up with a few of these moments on Youtube.

One of the most saddest parts of One Piece IMO.

I guess it's personal preference then. Well, at least from what I've seen, there's not a single chapter in One Piece that was entirely worthless. Naruto on the otherhand:

Well from what I've seen One Piece has gotten several arc that's total crap or dragged out to the point of being borderline snorefests

I'm trying to prove that a useless chapter can be made fun of.

My wireless keyboard is running out of batteries and is not responding all the time as im typing...and that's totally not an excuse (seriously).

One Piece is better, probably becasue their storyline is much better. Naruto fails to interest me, it was really good in the beginning, but its boring now. One piece is exciting, but I think Naruto focuses too much on captruing Sasuke. I get bored really quickly, so I hate it if something drags on too long.

Just to clarify:

Both series are awesome, no doubt about that. But,for me, Naruto just has more negative opinions about it than One Piece.

So far, the only Negative comments i've seen or heard about One Piece is the old "golden age" art, they're almost as superhuman as Dragonball and that the characters are looney toons (main/important characters are undying, which is now unproven due to Ace and Whitebeard's deaths)


You Narutards should at least know of some negatives of your fave series, right? So i'm not gonna elaborate it unless you want me to or you want to do it yourselves.

Ive only seen like 3 eps. of One Piece, so Im gonna say Naruto even though its complete shit... Its just shit that Ive watched before.
