I must say that I am quote excited for this series. The art design is wild, and reminds me of a mix between Gurren Lagann and Re: Cutie Honey. Panty & Stocking looks to be full of action, fan service, and comedy, and that's right up my ally.
What do you guys think? Will you be checking it out come October 1st? I know I will.

No idea why but I'm actually looking forward to this. Maybe because it's just something so new and different, right now it looks like it'll be like an American cartoon only with ecchi-ness.

I've been a big fan of their studio for awhile, and their shows are usually high quality, so how can this not be a must watch, at least for me?

i've been reading the small comic in newtype and from it,it's very interesting.
panty:loves to having sex with men
stocking:goth loli who likes weird stuff.
but what makes me wonder is if panty&stocking's weapon came from their own panties&stocking,the black dude with afro's name is garterbelt.
if he's gonna use a garterbelt,that is SO wrong.lol.

Well, I just watched the first episode of Panty & Stocking....and it was amazing. Within the first few moments of watching the episode, I knew that I was in for something fresh and exciting, and it definitely delivered.
The first episode was full of excitement and wonder, and the music definitely helped that along with the animation. Panty and Stocking's first episode was definitely what I expected it to me, and more, and I will definitely follow this series through to the end. I can't wait to see what other kinds of wacky situations the girls get into on their journey to collection Heaven's coins.
Plus, this sequence was worth it's weight in Heaven's coins:

Oh god that was amazing, after getting endless amounts of shitty fanservice shows and K-on we finally get a unique, refreshing and original anime and it's fucking awesome.
It really was like an American cartoon only taken to more silly levels and with nothing censored. (especially with how the episode was split in 2 parts and had little art opening bits with credits on them, very American Cartoon like.) The animation is great, the style is beautiful, the music was really catchy and fit well with it all.
In fact it reminded me a lot of Scott Pilgrim, for example when Panty shot her gun we got BLAM! All over the screen, or when they were driving we got "RRRRRR" beside them. I really liked that and hope it stays.
The bit with the live action explosions I loved and reminded me of something SHAFT might do, such an ambitious show this is and it really works.
With Panty and Stocking we're going to get mindless out of this world over the top fun, and I'm going to love every second of it.

Reporting in. Fucking loved it. The music, the style, the humor (as juvenile as it is lol), the Stocking. This show is looking goooooooood. Can't wait for more.
