It sorta bothers me that I can't really find too much to say.
Well, whatever. Here goes:
RahXephon was not that difficult to understand. You just had to watch the movie too.
ZeroOBK: You keep mentioning the Official Death List, but each time you reference it, you fail to answer what I consider a rather important character: If Lelouch was supposedly killed by Zero, doesn't it make sense for his name to appear on the list?
Wait...that's a dumb way to put it. Let me rephrase that.
The list proves nothing. Whether or not Lelouch actually kicked it cannot be proved by that list, simple because that list is a final In-universe death tally. If Lulu's name did not appear on an in-universe death tally, then it means his ruse did not work, and a world democracy was not established.
Which defeats the point entirely. I think of the Death List as a kind of Historical document from, say, 50 years in the future. Same way you could look up all the persons of interest who died during WWI/WWII/etc online.
I do agree, tho', that RR is pointless bullshit. It's like grasping at straws while you have a hay bale.
As for Nunally's "I can read people's hearts through their hands." ability, even if "The Creative staff explained", it's not a matter of refusing to believe it, so much as it is a matter of not being able to.
Absolute Obedience makes some sense. So does Time Perception, Heart Imprinting, Telepathy, and if you stretch it, Code Immortality.
Being able to read one's full intent in a single, brief hand touch is a bit much. Even for Nunally.
And fuck the creative staff. Yes, I know that their word amounts to
a Word of God, but it's one of those instances where believing it amounts to God saying "Yes, that's how it is." while thinking "Oh shit, Oh shit, I really fucked up. I really hope no one notices."
As for Charles' code being transferred to Lelouch, it's what I think as well. And, if we are going to over-analyze, I am going to one-up you.
Let's start with CC's final statement, made out to Lelouch. I've heard the argument that she was speaking in the "They are in heaven and listening" sense, but that one makes no sense. You see, CC, Lelouch, Suzaku, Charles, and Marianne are atheists. It makes little sense to consider them believers, seeing as how Lelouch has destroyed the Gods of Mankind.
One can argue those were not "Gods", in the sense of Gods. On the other hand, the concept of God is a being who watches over what we, insignificant humanity, does, and judges us. The "Gods" that Lelouch told to fuck off were, in essence, just that. And, seeing as how he destroyed these, with his own hand, with a handful of still living witnesses, how would it make sense for CC to be speaking to Lelouch in God's domain, if God(s) have been destroyed?
Following that Logic, CC is not speaking to Dead Lulu. She is speaking to live Lulu. This coincides with the popular opinion that the cart driver is Lelouch.
But how, then, did Lulu get there, if he died? Well, that must mean he didn't. I know some small bits of medicine, and I can infer that that sword missed his heart and did not do too much damage, since Lelouch neither died instantly, nor went into shock. Instead, he flipped, slid down his platform while leaving behind a vast amount of blood, and made a badass one-liner. Then closed his eyes, and was still. Then, Orange called for a retreat and to take Lelouch to a hospital. In real life, the EW has rescued people on the brink of death due to stab wounds near, or rarely, to the heart. And this is Sci-Fi. I like to think that, if they have hover invalid chairs, they have some kind of Surgical aids for this sort of situation.
Next, we jump around a bit. First, we consider that Orange not only allowed the stabbing by letting Suzaku through, he did not appear at all concerned when Lulu fell and apparently died. He called a retreat, and fled with the body. Later, we see him working, quite happily, with Anya on an orange farm. Not too much time has passed, but he's content as cna be.
Why?
From what we've seen of Jeremiah, he's OCD and Neurotic. Season one's "I'm not Orange!
ZEROOOOO! and R2's "Oh, you are Prince Lelouch? Then I have come to serve." reinforce these. The man is at an almost Yandare level of clingyness. He chooses to serve Lulu out of an obligation he feel's to Lelouch's mother, of all people. This to a man he knows ruined his career, had him dubbed orange, and took his eye and most of his body. Plus that stint as a giant, spiky ball.
No way he would not have had a fucking emotional breakdown over yet another failure if Lelouch had actually died.
Next, we consider that everyone in the world believes Lelouch died, ignoring the existence of Hospitals. But, seeing as how Britania still had quite a bit of power at around the time of his death, would it not be possible, hell, easy, to have a fake pronouncement of death?
Again, seeing as how he did not die immediately nor go into shock from his wound, I am fairly confident a modern hospital could have saved him, code or no fucking code.
Then, there's the theory, as ImperialX has stated quite well, about the Code Transfer that Charles carried out in the world of C. Seeing as how owners of the code were preternaturally resilient, even without the code activating upon death, one can draw a connection to Lulu's wound not doing a one-hit kill on him as a result of him owning Charles' code. This used to be my pet theory, as well, but I find it unlikely today that Power-mad Charlie would have given something as powerful as Immortality to Lulu. On the other hand, he WAS fucked up something good, so it's a possibility.
etc, etc. Sorry, I ran out of brain points for this rant. But I do hope I made a concise point of some kind.
