Mad respect for the guy. He is what every harem MC should be. He knew girls would bend over for him and he capitalized on every oppurtunity. If he chose his words more carefully at the end he would have gotten a better ending.

Makoto was an asshole, but I'd have preferred to have seen him emotionally destroyed or humiliated than his actual fate.

I hated makoto so much, I felt bad watching the anime but once they started hinting at someone dieing I had to keep watching just so I could be satisfied if it ended the way I hoped it would. Aside from Kotonoha going insane the ending was good enough for me.

honestly i think all the characters are at fault here... katsuro- just imagined everything was fine not doing anything until the end -Makoto- just ranceing around except he did not admit that he was not in relationship or single - Kotonoha- DID the EXACT opposite of what she should have done just asked makoto out instead of holding her feeelings in,making up crazy excuses and helping out the enemy many flaws and some morals..
