Anyways, episode 7 didn't make the main plot advance much. Maya as a little child was cute as hell though.
And altough I understand her behavior, Ami getting angry over Maya pissed me off xD.

I agree with you that this episode didn't do too much for the overall plot, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. I really liked the slice-of-life aspects to it, and, like you said, I thought that Maya was very cute when she was younger. I also really liked Ami's dad, and I thought that it was nice of him to go through all of that trouble in order to make Maya happy, but I wish that things could have turned out a bit better.

JK's mini-mes OMG i lol'd i saw all this coming then the double bitchslap at the end BAM. I was already in love with this anime then all the bitch-slaps and pimp-slaps came out of nowhere i jizzed in my pants. I like how they stopped making fumiaki look as useless as before

I have one theory
The restaurant girl is the Nostradamus Key, and when Fumiaki asks her for a date, they will take pictures on his phone to see that she is the key. and dun dun dun.
Maya tells him to send her to the future, for the researchers to study her, only for the aliens come. In the following siege, their only choice is to evacuate the humans and send them into the future, while it turns out that there are people like Fumiaki and No. 5 stationed to find the Nostradamus Key in the past. So, Fumiaki recovers his Psychokinesis power and fights alongside with people with his abilities. Maya joins in and helps Fumiaki, only to be on the losing side. Fumiaki, realizing his love for Maya, decides to send Maya into the future to save her. Fumiaki tells her his feelings right before, only for Maya to become a tsundere. Fumiaki then fights with his people and dies.
13 years later, older Maya talks about how Fumiaki saved the world and useless shit.

Now that you're mentioning it, that chick being the key wouldn't be surprising considering the circumstances.
But since this anime only have 13 episodes, the chances that fumiaki will end up with Maya are LOW, resulting in me finishing this series with a dissapoint D:

I'm hoping that we either get good closure with the 13 episodes, or we get another season. I definitely don't want to see another series rushed, (like you mentioned, Angel Beats), because that series would have been outstanding if it was fleshed out more, (not that it wasn't good or anything; I rather enjoyed it).

I don't think Occult Gakuin is a remarkable anime or particularly special in anyway. However I found that I keep wanting new episodes to come out solely so I can figure out what the hell the damn key is supposed to be...
