After finishing this, this was very refreshing anime. A lot better than Lucky Star. I like the Sugisaki's (i think the name is correct) harem dream stuff.
I like how they all act, one playing games and stuff like that, one as a fighter, one being a child and one being like w/e D=
Very excellent series indeed, im hoping for more as well.
Hmm i'd give it a 8.5/10 still thou; was refreshing indeed.
I'm sure they said it wasn't getting one, but who knows? Reminds me of when I made this when it ended and Umineko did (god that adaption was horrible).
Just have to keep waiting for the second season. Pretty sure I heard it was announced, just a question of what season they might bring it out for. This show really did a lot of things right and one of the best male leads I've seen in a while. Plus I just enjoyed how his desire to build a harem had real reasons behind it and it's one of the few times in anime I'm cheering on for a harem end.
I don't know if anyone forgot about this, or just waiting the BDs, but
Seitokai Ichizon Lv.2" is airing now, but as a ONA (website series), with only 360p quality.
For me, I'm the former, I actually fucking forgot. since, there were no "major" subbers subbing this thus I forgot while waiting for them.
Edit: Watched episode 1, IT IS a proper 2nd season, My only dissapointment is that they didn't use the same Voice actor for my lovely Akaba Chizuru.
Edit 2: Ugh, they also changed Mafuyu's voice... >_>
Eventhough the 2 new Voice Actors are more "well-known" and has more jobs than the previous, but I already got attached to the originals.
New VA for Chizuru other jobs (Mina):
-Mitsuki, Sohara (SoraOto)
-FAL L1A1 (Upotte)
-Rokujo, Minori (Maken Ki)
-Mihara, Kanami (Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?)
New VA for Mafuyu other jobs (Nomizu, Iori): (The original VA Horinaka Yui, only had one job, Mafuyu's voice.)
-Nymph (SoraOto)
-FNC (Upotte)
-Kushihachi, Inaho (Maken Ki)
-Haruna (Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?)
i really enjoyed the ova which told the backstory of sugisaki's quest to become valedictorian
oh, and it's nice to know that even though it's a different production crew that they're still referencing the previous team a lot. i laughed at "echo of death"
i'm very curious on how future episodes will be approached. considering last season's style of each episode starting out comedic but then ending on a personal note with some background info on key-kun, however with key-kun's back info all exposed i wonder if they'll venture somewhere else for personal feeling endings. in any case, i really want to see what happens when everyone from the current student council has to leave sugisaki by the year's end
SO FULFILLED yet wanting for more... It was darn good yep...
So sad it ended...
Spoiler:
this season really made a huge step from the last ep from season 1(although too bad no ep dedicated just for Chizuru and the new char Idol friend of Minatsu). It really gave a good view of Sugisaki's standing in his school, the approachable popular guy.
I love the encounter of Ringo and Asuka and I've liked that kind of ep (like in the 1st season with Elise) since it shakes their peace and makes the 4 girls really jealous lol.
I also liked their expressions here especially the forced smile and the embarrassed, blushing w/ a surprised look for Sugisaki and the seitokai girls (mostly Chizuru since it wasn't really shown in season 1 except the last ep).
I've seen the first anime of Seitokai no Ichizon and laughed a lot. It was a pretty good comedy back then. Yet I haven't had the chance to see Lvl. 2 yet. Question: Is it only released in web quality as of yet? Because I'm kind of looking for tvhd but can't find it.
Question: Is it only released in web quality as of yet?
Only in web quality for now.
Ending:
Spoiler:
I have to say that if one thing bugs me, it's that Ringo and Asuka appear to be doing quite well for themselves and still love Ken... which makes Ken's self-loathing in middle school kind of strange.
This may not have been a great series, but I will still miss it (or at least the anime version). Farewell, student council. Farewell, greatest harem protagonist of all time.
Its sad that it ended like that (ten episodes really?), it could have gone one more episode. Not often I watch an anime that I will remember the characters after a while, but I think this will be one of them.
