Series ending and your feelings.

IE: The end of FLCL made me mad because to me it was a huge cliff hanger and short. They could have continued the story line

Because kids in Japan didn't like it much. Victim of Shonen JUMP's strict voting system.

In contrary, I liked it. It's a beautiful ending to me.

Same with Double Arts, Yubisaki Milk Tea, and Yoo Ah Dok Jon.

And quite a bunch of others that had promise.

Akumetsu had a rushed ending as well. Thats why it had 32 clones and politicians jump out altogether rather than explaining it one by one in a few particular chapters.

Psyren: Last arc boss fight was pretty cool, and smooth flowing but they somehow rushed the ending with not much epilogue nor much "futuristic" changes into it.
Love Hina: Read it a long time ago, but loved the series and ended really well. Truly a classic manga.
Honestly wished Pretty Face had some more chapters to run it smoothly.

Man you made remember the good times I had with MXO and Girl Saurus and yeah they both didn't end that good I wanted Girl Saurus to show them actually have a ralationship instead of them just standing there saying they liked each other

Love Hina yes I loved the ending Ken Akamatsu is a genius they should have like a follow up chapter after so many years like showing the rest of the girls getting married

That would create too much needless character intro. Personally I couldn't think of any other way of ending it.

Trivia fact: One of the Negima characters is in the last 2-page panel.

Ladies vs Butler: The ending was pure BULLSHIT...well expected that much..
Seirei no moribito: The ending (the episode just before the last one) satisfied me soooo much that I didn't care about the epilogue in the last episode, but it gave an ever better flavour..

School Days(this series was terrible, but the ending was ballzy and fucking awesome)

I didn't even watch the series, but i watched the uncensored ending in youtube...it really got a reputation there... 0.o

Although I absolutely adore the series as a whole, the ending of Clannad After Story was kind of odd. Not sure that's what they should have gone with

Kamisama no memo chou had a really sucky ending. But then again, the whole anime itself was poorly planned out.

I absolutely adore the School Days ending. It retroactively made that show a post-modern masterpiece to me. Other endings:

Baccano: Awesome ending, but I still want my season 2.

Boogiepop Phantom: Pretty good, not amazing but still a nice way to wrap up the series.

Terra e(manga & anime): Actually like the anime ending more, if only because the anime does a bit more to build up certain characters than the 3 volumes of manga does.

Welcome to the NHK(anime): Way too nice to the characters, nothing really felt earned, they kind of pulled a lot of punches in the animated version.

Welcome to the NHK(manga): A bit more brutal and realistic, but still doesn't go all the way. A pretty good ending though if you must have a happy ending.

That's just a short list of things that popped into my head. But yeah.

Just recently finished Spice and Wolf, and the ending was just what i was hoping for. Even though there MIGHT be a season 3, i highly doubt it.

Just 6 more years until i can read all the light novels.

Steins;Gate has a pretty satisfying ending, pacing is good and a perfect closure.
