Shinryaku! Ika Musume (Season 2 Now Airing - Fall 2011)

Seeing others with their newly-created anime threads, I might as well jump onto the Fall/Autumn 2010 bandwagon. For those who know me, my preferences tend to lie with ecchi, fanservice titles, but this time round, I will be introducing "Shinryaku! Ika Musume", which falls under the comedy genre. In addition, beneath all the laughter, I believe said title might hold a deeper meaning, that of saving our earth, or at least the ocean. Squid girl Ika Musume is unhappy with the actions of human beings, especially since the latter have polluted the seas and oceans with their various activities, causing great distress to the marine creatures. She decides to come onto the surface to exact revenge, starting with the beach house near her home. However, through a strange twist of events, she is instead forced to live with humans, and in the process, learn more about the surface world. I have a feeling both Ika Musume and the various characters will learn more about each other's world, eventually leading to a happy ending... or so I hope. Another show that I didn't expect to be great! Seriously, this season has brought a lot of great animes!! Anyhow, last episode was really funny. Especially when the gang thought Ika was a ghost XD. I wonder how her ink tastes.

yeah, this is probably my favorite series of the Fall/Winter season.
..... plus Index II, Arakawa II, and The World God Only Knows... :)

But that's just me.
