Shuffle! What would you do?

In the anime Shuffle the main character is Rin and its basicly a harem anime, and i found his choice very stupid so im asking others their oppion. if you are familiar with this anime you can skip this next part.

marrying sia would make you the king of the gods
and marrying nerine would make you king of the demons

polygamy is common and aloud in the relm of the gods and demons

List of the main girls

Lisianthus

Lisianthus/Kikyo (リシアンサス / キキョウ, Rishiansasu / Kikyō?)
Nicknamed Sia (ã‚·ã‚¢, Shia?), Lisianthus is the daughter of the King of Gods and came to the human world as a possible marriage candidate for Rin. She possess a very boastful and energetic personality and holds great optimism. Though poorly skilled at academics, she has excellent cooking skills. Her magical capability is poor, but she makes up for it with brute force by hitting people with objects ranging from chairs to tables.

Nerine

Nerine/Lycoris (ネリネ / リコリス, Nerine / Rikorisu?)
Nerine is the daughter of the King of Devils and, like Sia, is also a marriage candidate for Rin. Nerine is a more capable magic user than Sia and occasionally uses it to devastating effects. Nerine is very shy, respectful, and speaks in an extremely formal way. She enjoys getting to know and learn about her peers. Her cooking skills are rather poor, but her magic capabilities are quite impressive, sometimes with enough destructive power to level entire city blocks. Her grades in school are also excellent.

Kaede Fuyou

Kaede Fuyou (芙蓉楓, Fuyō Kaede?)
Kaede Fuyou is Rin's beautiful childhood friend who grew up with him in the same house after her mother and Rin's parents died in a car accident. Some time after they started junior high school, Kaede started taking care of Rin, everything from housework to making him his meals. She is very down to earth, modest, polite and soft-spoken. Kaede is shown to have romantic feelings for Rin, but considers herself unworthy to be loved by Rin or to stay by Rin's side. However, though it is not romance, Rin cares deeply about her. Although she has come to terms with her own feelings, she continues to love Rin, and declares this in the last episode.


Asa Shigure

Asa Shigure (時雨亜沙, Shigure Asa?)
Asa Shigure is Rin's friend and senpai. She is also called " Shocking Shigure " in the anime. While she has a weak constitution, she makes up for it with her energetic personality. Despite being a touch of a tomboy(because she refers to herself with boku (ボク or 僕), a Japanese word for "I" mainly used by males), she is an excellent cook. She uses English loan words often and is notable for saying "Hello!" in English — a greeting which is her catchphrase.

Primula

Primula (プリムラ, Purimura?)
Nicknamed Rimu (リム, Rimu?), Primula is a strange, stoic and calm girl who is often seen carrying a stuffed cat around. Additionally, with her young appearance, Primula serves to fill the lolicon niche of the seriesShe is also very adorable.

Kareha

Kareha (カレハ, Kareha?)
Kareha is a god who is Asa's friend and classmate; consequently, the two are often seen together. She has a catchphrase of saying "Maa! Maa!! Maa!!!" (translated "oh! la!! la!!!") whenever she sees something romantic or cute, and starts to daydream. She works a part time job as a waitress in the cafe that Rin and the other characters visit frequently.

if you havnt seen this i would suggest watching this anime because not only is it a really good anime thier is more to the caracters that cant be put into words

I would go for Asa Shigure as she is easily the best and most interesting girl in the whole series!!!

lol why i do agree she probally is the most interesting. i would have to go for the polygamy thing(all the girls execpt asa and kaede, but kaede just wanting to be with you would probally go along with the polygamy thing to, so srry asa lol thats like five hot chicks lol) lol but if i did pick one i would probally pick sia

Didn't really find Asa interesting at the time (until now).

Therefore, I will go with Kaede.
IMHO, Kaede is the one who deserves Rin more than anybody else. Reasons have been stated by OP :

kaede really does deverve rin and i like her personality, but sometimes i think she just feels guilty.

Since it's a harem, I'd make a harem.

The protagonist was retarded IMO. Cutting himself to prove he loves her? The only interesting part was Kaede's story, everything else was just melodrama.

agreed i mean in the gods and demon relms thats perfectly normal to have many wives so the only ones not on board would be asa and kaede but kaede would probaly want to be with you so she would probaly go along and i wouldnt really pick asa anyhow lol

Asa's the daughter of a human and a devil, therefore, she inherited her mother's strong magical powers but since her body is a human, it cannot hold the strong magical power so she needs to use magic, otherwise that same magic will kill. That's the reason Rin cut himself to force Asa to use magic in order to save her. I guess Rin's method to save Asa was just an act of desperation, but in real life, you would do everything in order to save someone close to you right? even at the risk of your own life.

It was just way too farfetched for me to accept it.
Original plot: choose to be either the king of the gods or the king of the demons. Ending: fuck it I choose nether.

And he still has the other girls trying to win him over? Ugh... The ending was way too happy.

Kaede. But not after pushing her to yandere mode of course. She'd be too boring if she wasn't a yandere.

Asa, cant get enough of her energetic attitude.

I think that the main dude chose correctly in going for Asa because shes gonna FUCKING DIE if he didnt do something about it but that doesnt concern me so... Lets be selfish! :P

Kaede is like a childhood "friend" that you've known since forever almost like a little sister, Ok so she fucked you up a little when you were young and made you're life a LIVING HELL but thats all in the past. She feels so bad for how you were treated and would do ANYTHING for you. Mmmm Mmmmmm Mmmmmmmmm :) (It would be soooo tempting to go for her as she'd be super loyal and a great GF)

Nerine is my favourite though just because I feel like she'd have my back no matter what and Demons in the Japanese mindset seem to be different from what Demons in the West seem to be like. (I.E. They're not total CUNTS who try to ruin everything and seem to be pretty pleasant, Destructive but pleasant) I like Omelette = BONUS! :)

Kareha is the fucking looker of the bunch though but her story doesnt go into ANY detail whatsoever so its hard to get a feeling for her but (For the record I always thought she said ->)My My My... Shes STUNNINGLY beautiful!!! (Seriously tempting)

Mayumi is pretty cool, Good looking and funny also for some reason I think that she'd be the 'best lay' out of all of them. She looks like she'd put in the 'effort'! :P

Nadeshiko seems to be a bit of a challenge, Am I up for it? (Who knows but shes definately worth it)

Ama Shigure would be nice but that would be like a slap to the face for Asa so id hold fire... Just imagine the two of them together though! xD


To sum up my wall of text: Nerine would be the one but if I could be greedy id go for a threesome with Kareha and Mayumi! ;)

I would go for nerine from the start. When I saw the anime I was pretty disapointed that he didn´t chose her, but when I played the game my first round in it was for nerine.

I liked Asa the best as far as looks. But I would've picked Sia if not her.
