Highly recommended to watch S1 first. It's only 12 episodes so it's not hard to catch up.

While you're at it, go for StrikeSubs final versions, which are probably some of the best ones available. Not only are the subs of exceptional quality, but the final versions are also uncensored BD/DVD rips without all of the annoying steam and sunlight strategically placed throughout. After seeing the first episode, only two things bothered me.

1. No Perrine yet, my favorite of them all.

2. Amount of lines and screen time given to male characters in this first episode is greater then the amount given to males in entire first season. Or so it seemed. Season 1 was so much more awesome imo because of the lack of those who carried a Y-chromosome.


Those two points aside, I can't wait for more pantsu ^^

speaking of underwear the first episode of the new season started sucking already due to distinct lack of the mentioned

Back to the topic:

I am curious at how this new studio is going to continue the series, and seeing as they seem to have knocked out the original neuroi with a seemingly stronger one, I am extremely curious about their plans.

Watched first episode today.

The animation was pretty good. Not great, but better than what I was expecting.

Huge bonus point for original WWII-era Italian airplanes in the first few minutes. Wasn't expecting that.

I'm kinda wondering about the new Neuroi. It has a lot of plot potential (especially since original Neuroi weren't never fully elaborated upon), so I hope it won't turn into another Deus Ex machina.

The only thing I could complain about was Sakamoto's sudden change in attitude towards Yoshika's service from GTFO to "Hop in". At least, they could've spend more time on it, and not rush it in 6 minutes. But I digress.

Woot, I don't know if it's because of Sakamoto's new seiyuu but I totally loved her in episode 2.

Oh and also, I've been dying to find the name of Eila's voice actress. She has that particular accent when she speaks it's just awesome.

As I mention before (in the other thread) I was very upset at first due to the large amount of screen time and dialog given to the male characters, and even in episode 2 they had some. But, after seeing episode 3 I am very pleased, the series is now back to its roots, flaunting yuri, panty shots, and irrelevant scenes, that will all lead even more yuri and panty shots. I love this series.

Episode 5 was dissapointing... Or more like boring.

Episode 5 brought some screentime for Sanya, which was good. Sanya not showing her undies, on the other hand, was very very bad.

What happened to Erica's glasses-moe sister? I got all hyped for nothing.

It's like a giant tease. Next episode preview showed a bathing scene featuring Sanya. I'll ragequit this series if that's not gonna be a ten minute long service streak.

Barkhorn in a pink dress in ep 5 made me lol so hard.

Episode 7 had a lot of fan service.
Totally lol'd at the end with the medal.




Next episode seems to be more serious.

indeed, though the previews showed some ship captain or something, some old guy!?. Again, I'd like to mention how I dislike moments of screen time(even if its only a few seconds) that could be used on any of the many girls and there pantsu or even on the neuroi, are given to men. All I really wanna see are these girls blowing things up while showing there pantsu, that too much to ask for? =_=

Yes.... YES!, MC finally gets the spotlight.
First episode this season that didn't bore me.
Episode 8 gave me goosebumps, literally. Especially when she deployed her magic field for the first time using that new striker. I was like, "OH SHI- AWESOME!".
15 seconds later, she saves Lynne, pulls her rageface out and overkilled the huge neuroi in one clean move. Again I could hardly contain my excitement.

That's what every strike witches episode should be about: Miyafuji kicking ass.

Loved it.

Next episode is about Perinne, might be good.
