Stronger character in anime in term of strength.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned A-ko from Project A-ko. She's insanely strong. That is in terms of physical strength, not some power or something. A-ko is a normal high schooler besides being the strongest and fastest person alive. Without her braces she destoys anything she touches and even things she doesn't touch. Plus her parents are hinted at being Wonderwoman and Superman. She mops the floor with a Kenshiro (Fist of the North Star) parody in Project A-ko.
I don't think the death note counts for two reasons, one it isn't a character, it's an object and two it has obsolutely no physical strength. Where as Haruhi has little control of her powers since she isn't aware of them, so it'd be hard for her to win many fights, plus her physical strength is no greater than a normal person. I can't say about Goku since I don't know much about him, so I'm going with A-ko.

i think saber from fate/night...is the strongest..because for one she the king in her time....she uses the sword Excalibur..that gives her great power and with the hallowed scabbard of Excalibur..she is unbeatable

I think K-A made the best point here. Haruhi would want Goku to exist because he is an alien. So, ultimately, it would be a draw.
Goku is by far the strongest non-God character, but haruhi can unconsciously alter reality so she can just keep avoiding death, but never killing Goku.

There's alot of characters that could beat Goku, like Age from Heroic Age from the top of my head.

Atomsk from FLCL, he can move shit between other dimensions, no Kamehameha could hit him, and if you watch the last episode, as he is revealed, matter just gets like sucked in and destroyed by his presence

The strongest character would of course be "MIKU" for now. She already step past the boundries of RL and imagination by doing a Live concert to brainwash everyone into her fan while other anime char is still in our imagination.

I've never seen the anime Heroic Age, but from what I just quickly read on him, you have got to be joking. There is no fucking way.
