I'm just gonna be one of those Book Fanatics and just say nearly this entire season has been a complete upset. It seems like the producers seem to capture the side-characters far better than the actual MC himself. If it wasn't for the music, and the accurate portrayal of its side characters, this series would be dead to me.

So I won't lie I dropped this one after episode 6. Is it worth actually continuing? Because until now I've been bored. The character's are generally dull and uninteresting (Love Hina had a better cast than this and knew what it was). I find the action scenes...well they're repetitive. It's just oh look Kirito is doing sword things again. Woop de doo. Now if we could get a personality attached the superman complex that would be great.
In addition The weapons seem extremely poorly balanced which kind of ruins my immersion that this is in fact a game world based around PvP. Also there is no way that nobody has used swords before in a competitive scene. There are always those people who will take the janky thing and make it work. Happens all the time in pro video game matches. I dunno I think I play too many mmo's and it's ruined my ability to enjoy this series.
Edit: I think I'm mostly hoping one of you is going to tell me I'm wrong so that I can try to watch it again.

There's still Mother's Rosario though, the next arc following this one. There's literally no way they need 12 episodes to finish GGO. Also Yuki Kajiura is a fucking goddess.

Welcome to SAO the Anime, where the side-characters are better developed than the actual MC, and the MC is obsessed with Asuna. Seiyuus are great, the adaption is not. But in all seriousness, most of the characters aren't that bad, just Asuna.

I feel like you're being nitpicky here, in the novel they said, while Lightsabers had incredibly high destructive force, they were extremely impractical to use, even moreso to deflect bullets by using prediction lines. Try playing Counter-strike and rushing a guy with an AK-47 or M4 and see how fast you get mowed down, even more so if the mind is connected to divegear and is using his mind directly as a controller.
I'm only watching it because I'm waiting for one scene that's adorable as fuck. It involves a hand-grenade.

Is sword art online 2 any good I've seen and read the manga and hentai for the first one but some people tell me it's sucks so is it good or bad

Already, most of the season just has them doing absolutely nothing except talk about the same shit over and over again. The only thing going for SAO and SAO II in my opinion is the animation, music, and Kirito's level 500 harem master skills.
HOWEVER. When they DO cut to the chase instead of making it feel as if you're watching a filler ep, it's pretty good.

I give the GGO arc a 6/10. Overall it was a poor adaptation but the ending was pulled off rather nicely albeit a bit choppy.

The recent episodes were boring, I wanted action D:
I wanted to see the whole group invited to GGO (since Sinon went from GGO->ALO) and flail around with their guns (and light sabers) because there's no flying and magic or maybe they'd thrash everyone since they're used with melee attacks on aincrad and alfheim. Lightsaber stunts would be awesome!
I actually thought SAOII is all about GGO. D:
