I sort of lost that tingly feeling over the course of time.
When first got started on anime with Gundam Wing, I thought anime was the coolest stuff ever. As time went on, I find most anime series growing more and more lackluster, probably because I've already looked at or ground through all the good ones.
Nowadays, I barely take a look at the seasonal previews and at best find only one or two shows that would excite my interest.
Exactly where I am right now. And it sucks.
It's like watching anime feels like a job now. What happened to that brief happy moments of watching a perv being a perv and laugh at him for failing or succeeding. Or just being mind fucked with awesome special moves and mindless action. How i miss the good old days.

I think your tastes have become more refined. And now mediocre animes don't satisty you as much as they did back when you started. It's normal. You just have to pursue what gives you the most pleasure to watch.
Maybe. Just wish i could erase my memories so that i could rediscover and re-enjoy those days of curiously watching an episode of a random anime that i stumbled upon on crunchyroll, back when crunchy was still crunchy.
Any of you guys played GTA4? Then you'd know the feeling of playing it for the first time. The city was amazing, was it not. It was alive. The detail of every street and corner was full of life and, well, detail. It was beautiful.
Then the times came when i wished i could memory wipe myself so that I could re-experience that same feeling over and over again. Oh how i wish that feeling was a drug.
( ._ .) *sigh*How I wish I was a robot.
