The Anime Community Today

From what I've read from all of your comments, it seems like it all comes down to maturity. Whether a person can calmly and respectfully state their opinion about something (animes or other subjects) depends on how mature and intelligent they are. Apparently then the anime community, which is the community I'm specifically talking about, doesn't have much in the way of maturity. Whether this is because the internet allows them to anonymously behave like jackasses or because they genuinely are jackasses in real life too, is up for speculation. Though I think the anonymity of the internet seems like a viable reason for them to spout such nonsense. But like I've said before, this isn't entirely true for the community. There is always a minority of people that truly understand how to behave on the internet and how not to and who truly appreciate anime in all it's entirety. I'd like to say I'm part of this group, but I don't want to be arrogant about it.So to sum this up, I guess as long as the internet remains anonymous there will always be idiots spouting trash at everything they see for attention. As sad as it may be, it's the relative truth.

No, I do not nitpick everything. The artwork doesn't matter at all, as long as it entertains you. Take Black Butler: the artwork is more detailed than say, Azumanga Daioh. But Azumanga Daioh was still able to keep me watching; it was HILARIOUS.

I dont nitpick but I remember I watched an Anime (Cant remember what it was) but some people were going over it with a fine comb and loled at the animation quality of the Watermelon that was in a particular scene.

Anyways I found that interesting as I totally missed it, (Stuff like that I dont realise or give much attention to TBH) I went back and had a look and loled about it myself. (Looked more like an Iceberg Lettuce) :D

I dont really mind people talking about something in detail (You can discover some fun things or important facts from the discussion) as long as I feel that they arnt being overly nasty and unfairly cruel about it.

Im just a watcher of Anime I dont really know many facts as in blah~blah studio did this or so-so director did that. Ive got a friend whos extremely into Movies and he tells me "Y'know the actor blah~blah" I'll shake my head and He'll say something like "The guy who played Freddy Li in Kickboxer" Then i'll go Aaaaaaaah yeah~

it was a cabbage BTW. lol Apparently they spent their budget for the first episode.

My style of watching is simply this:
If it has lovable characters, I will watch it to the end. Of course, if it has a decent story and animation, that's a nice plus.

I don't know about the anime community. I'm pretty new to it, and I don't think I care about other people's opinions on such a trivial topic
