Melancholy is a type of thoughtful sadness, I believe it's referring to her desire to see supernatural things things, and her boredom of life in general.

This is the last time I'm going to repeat myself, The newest episode is episode 10, not 9. BLR was ep 1, E8 was 2-9.

i have read 10 times the novel so i can tell that the 10 ep are diffrernt and doesn'thave at the novel. there are no phrase at the novel that yuki run soo fast and there are no sport activity........ sooo i gueess this is a whole new episode diffrent from the novel

Wll, its not really the 2nd season, its just the 1st season with additional episodes, so really no its not much better.
