yeeeesss... the anime season 2 will take away my loneliness for Elsea in the manga + Elsea in tears... kawaii

Ok is it Elsea, Elsee, or Elsie? I've seen all three versions of her name used...

I think people are leaning towards Elsie now, I think. I can't remember how it was spelled in the episode.

As for episode 1, it was what I expected, with the exception of the quick recap scene, which I enjoyed. Sadly, the OP just doesn't measure up to the first one, and it was disappointing even though I did my best to quell my expectations.

Lol, same here. Although, her name is Elucia de Lute Ima commonly called "エルシィ" or Erushi for the translation. I always seen it used Elsie most of the time, so that is how I refer to her.

@ZERO: Same. I was expecting something more for the opening, although I wasn't too turned off.

It somewhat doesn't matter because we're only talking about the same cute demon.(it could be L-C??)
I guess the anime adaptation will be a farewell of most of the characters Oh yeah! Nanase is in this season(i liked her arc since a teacher(girl)-student(boy) relationship is really rare in reality

saw the first episode from season 2 today, Elsie has gotten even cuter this season. I definitely like this ark already but I want to see how this ark will go on to the next episode.

As Expected of Ami Koshimizu, she did a splendid Job voicing two sides of Kusunoki.

The OP and ED songs is not as catchy as the first season though.

I agree that the OP song was not as good as the first season's, but it was better than I had expected based on what people have said. The ED in general was disappointing.

As for the artwork showcased at the end, does a different artist do them each time? I didn't particularly like this one since Haka's eyes were a bit too 'manly', but there were some really nice ones from last season.

Yes, Every Episode is different. And that's "fanart", you like some you Hate same It's subjective. It's More of this is how "this illustrator" draws "this Character". They did it for fun, They're not aiming for "Closeness to the original" but more "This is my style of drawing", so it's obvious that they don't look like the original.

I thought I will be happy after watching ep 2 and yet it still makes me sad the girls w/o goddesses won't be involved in the main arc anymore... Oh well, they did a good job for ep 2 + haqua made an entrance

Episode 2 wasn't really remarkable. I felt as if I was being dragged along for parts of it. Haqua's entrance kind of disappointed me since we never got a good full body shot. :(

-On the Contrary, they adapted things 100% from the manga. Not one bit was removed.
The only thing that was changed was the delinquents butterfly knife into a rod.

- And there's no need to complain about Haqua, since you actually saw her full body in the OP and ED sequence.
