sounds interesting but if it just turns out to be a Higurashi clone, not quite sure if it would be as good
Let me make this clear, Umineko is not a Higurashi clone and has almost nothing in common with anything in Umineko. Besides, Umineko actually surpasses Higurashi in every way, and I really didn't think Ryuukishi07 was gonna be able to top Higurashi, but he did. I just finished reading the new Episode of Umineko, EP7 and it was amazing. God I can't wait for the next Episode coming out on the next Comic Market.
Seriously though, I tried really hard to like the anime but I just can't, it's the same dissapointment I felt after watching the Higurashi anime. (I didn't finish the entire thing, I just couldn't) It's always way better to read the original visual novel, and the manga isn't half bad. But the anime is just pathetic, the directors (especially the sound director) made horrible choices in the process.
Japanese people are hating on the anime especially because of the music (as I said, the sound director fucked up) that they used through out the entire season. Hell, there was almost no music at all in the episodes, and when they did use the music, IT WAS ALL IN THE WRONG PLACES (and very low). I can give so many examples on that but then that would take me way too long.
I am not looking forward to the second season, ã†ã¿ãã“ã®ãªãé ƒã«æ•£ for this. I'll just read the original work thank you.
