I had a very traumatic childhood and gore reminds me of experiences I either actually had, or witnessed.

I don't know anything of this book that you read. From contextual clues I'm going tp surmise that it's about a doctor that does bad things?

Well, one could argue that reading and enjoying a certain book doesn't necessarily mean you wish to emulate its main character,

but at the same time... I can kind of see how it might disturb them a little. I mean, last I checked, you're studying to become a doctor yourself, right?

1) Ny mum can be a lil exagerated at some things, she, as well as my sis and everyone in my family is a doctor, all the way up to my grandpa, my sis is also a med student

2) I don't fap to gore, I just enjoy the read cus it reminds me of the human body and subjects related to my life (medicine)

3) I may be studying to become a surgeon but my moral and my mentality are still bound to rational logic and to distiguis from what is good and bad

4) I'm actually thinking of returning to my previous avi, lol, something definetely feels off

5) I read Franken Fran because I liked the way she used sci-fi science, that stuff she made is totally off but I can imagine it being real at some point in time, the gore was just a bonus

The book of revelations and most of the Christian bible via judism is lacking. There 66 books in the King James bible, 72 in the popist bible. There 118 to 137 in our bible. Why... because the second church believe jesus wasn't human or man. Amazing a 1700 year hunt, murder and genocide for a difference of opinion.

I love anything with gore short of H. I also have a bit of a sick interest in extreme methods of human torture. That's always bothered my family or friends, but they eventually realized I'm not quite screwed up enough to actually do any of the fucked up things I talk about. And now I can just sit around and converse about that sort of thing with family, still freaks them the fuck out, but they know I'm not going to act on any of it, and in fact learned a lot from that twisted interest.

But to be more on topic, I find it helps to try to find some way to rationalize it somehow, and since you're a med student, that shouldn't be too difficult. As messed up as it may be, that sort of stuff can be very educational if you look at it from an anatomical or otherwise medical point of view. I think that's a pretty good way to rationalize it, it may still be frowned upon, but it's kind of difficult to argue that point.

They are short stories I saw on /a/ and they are not as graphically horror as Fran but the story really scared me.
