What Anime/Manga Dissappointed You?

the valkyria chronicles anime was always ok but was no where near as action packed or just cool as the viedo game. Then in episode like 13 they put in a character that looked like vyse the only difference was he had blue-ish, gray hair. I was psyched about there being vyse but then they killed him off like 5 minutes later and I have not watch the anime since.

code geass: I like the whole anti-hero thing but the rest of it is so so
death note: ending but first season was best
bleach: only hate the bounts
shuffle: ending sucked most everything else was good

Budget ruins everything. enough said. If Negima!? and the OVAs wasn't here to save the day i'd have paid Ken akamatsu a visit , giving him a punch in the face before motivating him to make a full manga series.

It's a great anime but they chose to not continue it.

I had been watching the second going to 3rd season, My friend was like, "hey man, it's a load of crap." I'm like, "lolnoitsnot!" and then I'm like half-way through the 3rd season and I'm like, "Wow, the story isn't very good, can't believe I just realized. Stupid fan service."

to love-ru (anime): the anime had plenty of source material to work with but instead chose to make up over half the episodes- most of which sucked. It was even worse because the first few episoides were a substantial improvement over the manga. Also the fact that the anime completely reverses lala's father's opinion of Rito for the reason of having a major finale... which sucked.

ZnT- S2-S3. In S1 main character was a good guy who found himself in compromising but understandable situations. After S1 I guess they couldn't come up with clever situations anymore so they totally changed his personality into that of a jackass.

Chobits- Good premise, terribly executed. I'm cool with the main character being some country bumpkin who doesn't know anything- but the dude never learns and acts like a total idiot through to the end. Seriously could have been 12 episodes instead of 24 without any loss of content if they removed all the scenes that do nothing but demonstrate what an idiot the main character was.

I completely agree with you on this one. The anime did have its moments, but they completely screwed up the ending, and I raged like I had never raged before.

out of all the anime's i've watched, Venus Versus Virus is high on my list of dissapointments. i was expecting more than just switch to the dark side, time skip, deja vu sort of ending =(

also disappointed in Rozen Maiden and Zero no Tsukaima, only because the endings seemed a little off and unfulfilled and also i think a little more character development would have been great

Well Death Note took a massive dive in quality after a certain point. I also got into Blood+ even though it was a bit shaky from the start... After a while it really seemed to lose any sense of direction (I still watched it till the end, though...)

It's the opposite to Rozen Maiden which I watched to see what all the fuss was about and thought "What the fuck is this shit?" For some unknown reason, I persevered and realised that it does start quite misleadingly - I ended up loving it. It's one of the only anime where my favourite character changed due to a surprising event or revelation. In this case I liked Boku from the start but eventually thought she was a bit of a dick and actually came to love Junk once I saw her history. OK, all sort of off-topic but I guess I can say that it was disappointing at first.

The movie was very horrible. I wanna cry because I've spent my precious money only to buy the ticket. damn!

I actually stoped on ep 15 or 18 or something since nothing had happened in the last 10 episodes and i couldn't be arsed with it anymore, think it's about the only anime that i've droped halfway.

The 14 last episodes to death note where they decided that the story should have a "good" moral

FMA, Was really into these sort of series when i watched it but the ending just completely ruined it.

Tears to Tiara, they added a nice sidestory but they're slaughtering the good parts of the game...

All the good animes that never got that second season that they would have needed

Probably the thing that disappointed me the most recently was reading Suzuka. Romance turned into nothing, but a trashy teen-romance without even a remote bit of creativity. I want those hours of my life back.
