Let's see I hate Naruto and Bleach they are the most overrated anime/mangas ever made.

manga is good for a read but im not crying when they go on vacation or adult swim delays the new ones. watch only when nothing on.

Naruto, fate stay/night, and Cardcaptor Sakura. Well the last two were just overrated but Naruto doesn't get a pass. You don't know how many people claimed that they were "anime lovers" but said the mainstream stuff i.e. Naruto, Bleach, Dragonball, anything that hit adult swim or Toonami. Granted I used to be one of those guys until a fellow anime lover told me I was pretty much a mainstream whore Lol.

Im ok with Naruto but Bleach just fails to impress me.

code geass was a good anime for me, but i thought the manga about the sister was better.

@animefreak_USA: I'm going to have to agree that Kanon was somewhat overrated. I was kinda bored watching the series in comparison to Air or Clannad, but a decent series nevertheless.

For me, the shonen trio is automatically included into overrated anime/manga as well as Inuyasha both anime and manga, Trigun the anime, Rurouni Kenshin the anime, Beserk the anime, and a couple of others.

I've watched so many anime series that it's become hard to tell what's considered mainstream. I mainly judge anime as mainstream shit if 1) I hate the anime and 2) it is airing in America.

To be honest, I think Adult Swim's selection of anime was pretty awesome.

ANY anime with too much filler (look above), too long running (DragonBall Z), and too boring (the 2nd half of Death Note)...

Naruto and Bleach are my only complaints. In my opinion, anime has the potential to be good until it is dragged to what seems like forever. I usually prefer my anime to have only 2 seasons, 3 at most.

I don't find any anime that sucks except for one... Bleach.

Now don't get me wrong, It was pretty epic until the Soul Society Arc ended. After that, it just drags on and on and on with an almost-not-moving plot and endless fights

Bleach and One Piece and Death Note. Didn't really care much for Death Note.

Admittedly I got into anime because of Naruto and Bleach. But the fillers killed it for me. I kept current with the manga until they got too ridiculous (Naruto using the dragon ball revive and Bleach second save the princess).

Yes I agree that there were problems with Visual Keys' animes but the games were powerful enough to bring me to tears so they are endeared to my heart.

K-On! is all I can think of right now. First season was ok then I just didn't care for the second one.

Any anime with over 200 episodes isn't worth watching at all.

Agreed with the second half of Deathnote and I thought Gurren Lagaan was much weaker and less fun than it was cracked up to be.
