What are your thoughts on 4Kids Tv anime?

When they get an anime they change alot of stuff around they will replace all the original audio with a rap beat, they give the characters really messed up voices, the opening credits is also a rap, the take out any references of other countries besides America (they have been known to turn rice balls into sandwiches or some other food), some times they have even completely changed a character to make it "better" (they would change a boy to a girl character), and finally they get rid of all violence and the like...but thats just some of the stuff i have noticed when I have visited old friends with kids and they are watching saturday morning cartoons and sometimes I watch saturday morning cartoons myself. (sorry i dont know if this form was already created or if there is one similar to it.....feel free to delete it)

i cant ell you what i really think about 4Kids cause it's even too much for the internet
but lets put it like this if i see anything made by 4Kids on tv i have to smash my tv

4kids killed Yu-Gi-Oh! for me and further destroyed it with the dubbed GX...

4kids is like the opposite of King Midas. Everything they touch, turns to crap.

They change too much from the anime and make it "kid friendly". Yu-gi-oh and pokemon are two examples of anime ruined by 4kids.

4Kids is exactly what it is, for kids, not kids in adults bodies. The only thing I don't understand is the need for all the censorship censoring japanese culture and violence. All kids have watch Bugs Bunny and it's violence; and why censor someone else's culture.

edit: I just remembered. 4kids created those opening songs right for pokemon? I love those...

Yes it killed Yu-Gi-Oh! and just about everything else it touched.

The Japanese version of Yu-Gi-Oh! was much better. When I saw the original, I then thought, dude the English version sucks ass, there's so many alterations. "If you lose this duel you will go to the Shadow Realm"...wtf? Saying, "If you lose, you die." is much simpler. Pokemon, I have no clue. Haven't seen the Jap version. Heh, no wonder people say these shows are gay, because America fucked it over...

though if they didnt do that then we wouldnt get the Epic Yu-gi-oh the Abridged Series and the "Screw the Rules I have Money" slogan from Kaiba

One Piece is the worst casualty of 4kids. Not only was stuff censored, good dialogue replaced with shitty jokes that even kids wouldn't laugh at, and skin color changed, but they completely destroyed the plot of the show by cramming a bunch of shit together and actually omitting a whole arc. They fucking skipped twenty episodes and just went ahead with the next arc.

4kids should not be allowed to exist. Kids are not as stupid as 4kids thinks they are.

Oh yes I forgot about the abridged series...man that made up for the shit I was given. Problem is it takes forever for new eps. I love it how they make fun of 4Kids...epic!

I have a great disliking of 4kids TV anime since the destroy the anime they get by change the plot that create plot holes and get the worst voice actor that make me want to rip my ears out.

They destroyed Tokyo Mew Mew,Falcon Densetsu,and Yu-gi-oh their company needs to die immediately.
