What are your thoughts on 4Kids Tv anime?

Seriously why the fuck does 4Kids need to radicalize every anime they license? For Yu-Gi-Oh!, I can somewhat understand the censor for killing someone when they lose a duel, but to change the names, the OPs, EDs, background track, and even dialog really kills it. I haven't seen One Piece yet but I'll assume it's just as bad as everyone says. I much prefer the original music and dialog than the upbeat rap crap they put in.

The 4kids version of One Piece has officially been banned from television, I believe. Since Funimation bought the rights to the series and rereleased the episodes that 4kids fucked up, I doubt the 4kids version will ever be seen again.

And for good reason. The 4kids version had none of the music from the original, next to no dialogue from the original (with a lot of cheesy jokes in its place), and on more than one occasion, several episodes were mashed together or completely skipped. Pretty much, every bad thing said about the 4kids version on the internet is nothing compared to the actual show. Seriously. You can have a guy detail every bad thing with the version, and you still will not be prepared for how shitty it actually is if you watch it.

That's why I no longer watch anything from 4Kids. But I remember reading from somewhere that 4kids said that we have to deal with the changes with the anime that they license because angry fans were complaining about the radical changes.

I dont have a problem with 4Kids that is if they didnt fcking Killed one piece the best dub is probably death note or full metal alchemist
