Even though i dont like censored anime I can deal with them only when the censoring is done in a discreet way, which is the complete opposite of those outrageous beams of light we have been seeing lately appearing from no light source whatsoever to cover up panstu.

Yeah I think that anime shouldn't be censored either. R-15 would definitely be so much better uncensored (and when I watched To Love-Ru, the censoring was very annoying as well). Also, if you want Manyuu Hikenchou completely uncensored, you can find it here on animeshippuuden. XD

What do you think about censured hentai? and why do they do it? is it culture or are there laws or is it to tabbo in japan to actually show the whole "act of mating".

but as everyone said before; sure, i hate anime being censored, but they have to make money so i understand where they're coming from. but in the very least, they should make the censors appealing; for example, in ro-kyu-bu they used sunflowers as censors which i found somewhat cute

Censuring sucks. sometimes it can be funny. Rosario Vampire, the bat. at first I was like, oh that is the censuring, pretty funny. BUT later on the series i got pissed every time that bat appeared as a censure. Some don't even make sense. Like, i think in Girls Bravo! i think one character was in a mansion or something, then i am positive it was some sort of panty shot, then A GIANT BEAM OF LIGHT COVERING HALF OF THE SCREEN! It sucks.

It's partly culture, but nudity itself is no big deal in japan. There are actual laws about what they can show in anime. There suppose to be only so much genitalia showing. The thing is in japan is better to "beg forgiveness than ask for permission", or else putt the blame on someone else.. so stuff gets through.

I don't watch that much censored anime, but I really really hate censorship.
4kids ruins everything (MR. POPO IS F*CKING BLUE!?!), then Disney XD ruined Naruto shippuden. Cartoon network hasn't messed up bleach, but everything else sucks.

the worst censoring i have ever seen would have to be in "blood C", not only is the anime horrible but they cover up a lot of like killing and gore scenes with random white and black smears taking up half the screen....just ruins it

Not a fan at all, just show what was meant to be shown. Unless the idea was originally to censure something in a certain way to get some laughs or something, just air it uncensored or don't air it at all.
