What is your first Anime + The show that got you hooked?

So for example my first anime was Dragonball, not sure which one (as I was quite young at the time) though I think it was Z. Though this did not get me into anime it was Naruto on Cartoon Network a year or two later that got me interested as at the age I was at the time super awesome ninjas was the best thing ever but Cartoon Networks scheduling was so strange and obscure that I never saw much of it so one day I searched on the internet and found out you could watch it online so I promptly watched about a dozen or so episodes a day and have been into anime ever since so for about 6-7 years I guess. So what about you when did you get into anime?

Speed racer was my first anime. I didn't call it anime until I started watching DBZ though..

Pokemon would have been my first anime.. if you can call it that.
next up would probably be robotech..

first anime ever was dragonball Z as im sure it was for most people. The anime that really got me into anime was Naruto

first anime ever... either Princess mononoke or Laputa:Castle in the Sky (was too young to remember which came first lol) then i got sucked into Digimon (i was the wierd kid that prefered Digimon amongst the hoard of pokemon lovers rofl)

If by mean when you started watching on the internet, It would be when To Love Ru started airing in 2008, when I told my friends about it they though it was 'roo' like a kangaroo, I'm like 'No! Thats just wrong!'

Zastin was just the best, love the seiyuu and Zastin's armor is boss.

I was already aware of and following other anime series, like Akazukin Chacha, but what REALLY got me hooked had to be Shadow Skill and Samorai X :D

Wolf's rain, Desert Punk, and Mushi-shi got me hooked into anime. I enjoy the shorter anime series over the longer ones.

First anime - Sailor Moon when I was a toddler, but I hated it so much I'd cover my eyes.

Anime that got me hooked - DBZ or Inuyasha.

first anime... mirai shonen konan or josephine the whale

the ona that got me hooked Dragon Ball or Saint seiya, well not really hooked but I got into knowing anime and stuff

maybe the one that started my hobby again was trinity blood

first anime was drangonball Z i mean who DIDN'T watch that. but the one that got me hooked on anime was outlaw star, that will always hold a special place in my heart.

Digimon, Dragonball Z, Tenchi Muyo, One Piece (even though it was the 4Kids one I really enjoyed it.. come on I was a kid!) then there was a massive blank of no anime and I forgot about it then I saw Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ghost in the shell and every thing else that Anime Central showed and I was hungry for more.

my first would be dragonball Z but i didn't know it was anime at the time haha ^^' What really got me into anime was probably Ranma 1/2, Gensou Maden Sayuki and Vandread that showed every weekend :3. Never thought superman was cool again after seeing Sanzo XD
