Which are the Saddest DEATH in Anime, Manga, or Game?

Even though some might say that Spike Spiegel’s fate was left undetermined, imho, his death marks the end not only of the series but of his long journey as well…and it couldn’t get anymore meaningful any other way. I really look-up to this guy, even up'til now… 8)

Kamina's death damn it was so sad.

When Shirley died in Lelouch's arms and admitted her love to him.I always cry at that every time.

When Teresa was killed by Priscilla.

When the little sister dies- right after eating rocks thinking they're rice balls, and offering them to her brother... GOD! I cried, and that movie still upsets me!

NO!!!! MIKOTO!!!! Yeah I know she isnt a regular character, but still that part made me sad...
also Yuzuha, she doesnt die in the anime itself, but she still does...

Lucy/Nyu... Damn a manga never nearly brought me to tears...

Yeah Arc's not dead but she had to sleep forever to suppress her vampire urge meaning she and Shiki would never see each other again. And she will continue to remember all the happy times she had with Shiki in her eternal dream, that is the sad fact

Saber's death. The fact that they can never be together although they love each other is just :cry: :cry: :cry:

God that left a bad taste in my mouth, I was torn between sorrow for Riku and sympathy for Diva(I feel bad for pregnant widows). She legitimately loved her unborn children, and I can't help but come up with scenarios where she possibly had genuine feelings for Riku as well.

When Brandon first dies(pre-"Beyond the Grave"), also the deaths of Bunji, Bear, Sherry, and that final death scene between Harry and Brandon. God that show was so fucking epic.

Maeno's death left an impression on me. I knew he had a thing for Rin it just never came to fruition. Add more the fact that the main characters, people who have seen death countless of times, were so attached to his death they supervised his wife, child, and grandchild.

This show had so many deaths that really got to me, I think it was partly due to the awesome J-rock and J-pop that played alongside those deaths(Ayase's scene a shining example on how music can play a major part of invoking emotion)

One of the first times I can remember someone dying in an anime, and what a way to go! I'd love to die dragging my enemy into the gravitational pull of a star with me!

God, I forgot her name. The blonde who died in the end of the series got me. Though, I have to her death in the movie was even worst.

Ryoko's Death... Even though, in the end, she survived, but still, I actually thought she had died.

Diva raping and then killing Saya's younger brother. And then she really did show that she was a bitch by taking Riku's form.

Shiten, who was took the role of the Ancient One, sacrificing his life to save Lady Kairi.

If only Christina knew who she was fighting against... if only she knew... :cry:
