Never really "fell in love" so-to-speak... but it was probably Mutsumi Otohime from Love Hina. Never liked Naru as much as everyone else seemed to...

Although I don't get why he would bother posting when not really contributing to the thread. . . *Sigh*
For my first love-like/affectionate feeling towards a character I too would say Naru Narusegawa from Love Hina, or Chidori Kaname from FMP. I'm not quite sure but it's probably Naru since that was the series I saw first. But I've watched those series so many times now I can't remember really.
