Why is it that you watch ecchi anime(s)

Well like the title says, why do you watch ecchi animes when you know that they aren't going to "go the distance", have sex? Is it because you get loads of fanservice pantie shots and gratuitous nudity, is that the reason you watch it?

I mean, if you wanted that, you might as well read parody doujins instead. Or do you simply watch them to know the story, then fap to the doujins?

Or is it like, foreplay before you fap. Like you watch an episode of R+V or Vandread or To-love-ru, get your blood flowing, then fap to some hentai? I dunno...I'm just wondering what's the point of this ecchi stuff anymore if you can just watch hentai where they go all the way, and with a lot less bs and time wasting too.

I'll make this answer short, sweet, and to the point.

A) Ecchi has a good amount of boobs and butt action involved.
B) Wacky hi-jinks ensue because of boobs "accidentally" popping out of girls' tops or because the protagonist is trying to get/see some flesh.
C) I enjoy watching both erotic features on a woman being displayed for my viewing pleasure as well as funny sequences for me to giggle at.
D)...Profit!

I watch it just for the lulz, eye candy and story.

I never treat it as a material or even a "warm-up". lol

Because half the things that happen in ecchi animes doesnt make sense... Well in most animes actually, but point is that ecchi animes tend to have the most lulz.

For now, yes. The dvd versions haven't been released yet, and those will most likely contain all episodes uncensored. Episode 10 (the uncensored one) was somehow leaked, through a torrent I think.....Crax explained it somewhere in his thread.

I watch ecchi anime because it's the best combination of sexy and funny things, some lulz. Basically I'm just a subscriber to the service they call "fanservice".
