Your Favorite anime character who died?

Mine is Yang Wen-Li.

I loved his personality and how he had a great mind for history and philosophy. He was intelligent in tactical warfare but didn't like war at all. He was more laid back and never boasted about his skills or his status.

The worst thing is how the show treated him. He always gets the short end of the stick even when he is winning. And they kill him off in a realistic but stupid way.

This anime dished it out hard by giving him a death that held no glory and left a bitter taste. Yang was not killed in some awesome battle or anything big. He was assassinated by a small group of vengeful enemy troops while meeting for a peace treaty. And the worst part is the reason he died was just because of random bad luck!

He just so happen to have escaped the assassins with his men protecting him until they all died and while he was walking across the large almost empty ship he ran into one of the assassins who was insignificant and never named. The guy shot him in the leg and Yang bled to death there.

If the death had more meaning in it I might not have been as upset but this was a slap to the face.......and yet this is how real life is. It does not favor anyone over another when it comes to death or the situation for which it occurs.

I could say Nagisa or Ushio, but there was that whole wish thing that brought them back to life hehe. Then again, in the movie Nagisa dies. Oh, and what about fucking EVERY character from Dragonball Z. They all died at point point or another *cough* Krillin *cough*.

I like what Lelouch represented, so I'd have to say he's my favorite anime charcter who died.

In the manga version, doesn't she live longer or they don't actually show her dying that early or something like that? Like wasn't she in a church and then cried and Chrono came in his demon form and something happened that I can't remember because it's been years since I've read it. o-o

AND GOD i'm sure a lot of people are going to keep saying Lelouche or Light. At the current moment I can't remember any characters that I like that died.

@GSDAkatsuki: that's exactly how it happened in the manga, except that Rosette was getting one her usual heart attacks, and then Chrono in demon form shows up and a happy but vague ending ensues.

I preffered Kittan he died in a way faaaaaar more GAR way than Kamina IMO...

Now THAT is gar when you know what going to happen and you still end up going out there and giving up your life for the woman you love...
