Your favorite Clannad sad scene "Spoilers"

Basically the scene that made you flood tears all over the floor.

I think most of the people will be smart enough to guess there'll be spoilers, but it probably wouldn't hurt to put it up there.

Anyway, back on topic:

It's a toss up between 2 scenes:
One of them is where Okazaki and his father make up and as the father is leaving his home, Okazaki asks, "Did he find happiness?" and you see one of those happiness orbs fly up into the sky.

The other scene was when Ushio dies and Okazaki screams at the sky for Nagisa to save her. I just found it to be ironically sad that he's asking someone who was already dead to stop his daughter from dying after he's lost so much too...

But yeah... I bawled like a little baby watching this show in more than these two scenes... >_>

I cried a shitload during the second season... I don't remember the scenes but I know I cried a bit.

Ushio crying in Tomoya's arms and the death of Ushio in Tomoya's arms.
Watching those scenes made my heart hurt.

Scenes with young Kotomi were also pretty sad.

Like g-money indicated there were alot of scenes to shed tears but the scenes in which Ushio and Nagisa die were the saddest for me.
If I remember correctly there were more but I can't properly recall them so I just mention them.

hmmm...for me it's in the school story, when kotomi reads the letter from her parents. damn, kotomi's papa gave the greatest advice i can think of coming from a father...i cried like crazy that time.

My favorite would be ep. 20 where they are playing cards. Fuko just does an amazing performance. I don't think anyone else noticed but she was being extremely nice for that portion and didn't get pissed off at Tomoya and tease him but directly afterwards returns to her regular self so shes not making him feel bad. Then again, that whole episode in general is my favorite of the after story.

My favorite would be the scene where Tomoya finally accepts Ushio in the field. Everytime I watch it I would always cry. I absolutely loved it and it was the most touching scene I've ever watched.

Not really much of a sad scene but the either when Kotomi starts crying at the bus (I love it so much I cry) or when Tomoya rejects Tomoyo.

But actually, all of them are great. Key is just that awesome at execution I guess(or would that be KyoAni?).

The only sad scene that didn't get me was Ryou and Kyou crying.

The scene that made me the saddest would be right after Nagisa's death. Its when Tomoya wishes that they had never met, had fallen in love together or had had a child together. Just the thought that he would be willing to do something like that in order to make sure she never died just really resonated with me. I just cant watch it or think about it without going teary eyed.

Yeah same here. I cried during both seasons, but it felt almost non-stop during After Story. I know I couldn't pick just one.

I totally just cried all over again watching that vidoe. ^_^;;

Obvious baws are obvious so I'll just name a scene that made me sad even though it wasn't it's intention.

Obvious baw moment is obvious... and now you open up old wounds...

I can continue ya know - I'm good at such things. The proper term to name them ended with '-izm' or '-ism' if I'm not mistaken.

You guys (smacks head)....anyways back on topic, the first season I didn't shed a tear for any scene but it's a different story for the second. I didn't cry but my eyes watered up during the scene in the field with Tomoya and Ushio. There were two more scenes that I got watery eyes but I can't remember right now.
