Anime Expo 2011

yeah the bomb threat was crazy, wonder what that fight was about though?

so what I learned from day 2: Power Rangers can tell adult jokes and their fans are knowledgable, Vic Mignona's fan girls cry for some reason, the arcade sucks balls, the exhibit room is a haven for all things awesome and the vocaloids are fucking awesome live!

got a lot more pics today too with an auto graph, walter jones(zack) took a couple of pics with me, got an autograph from Blake Foster(justin, blue turbo ranger). bought an h-manga called Milk Mama's...so far pretty good.

So on to well later today for the meet and greet! and whatever else the day provides.

Went to Kurosaki Maon panel. EPIC SHIT BE STARTING SON! New debut album coming soon.

ANN panel, got me a classic Last Exile. Heard it was REALLY good so I got it.

Watched Gundam 00 Awakening of the Trailblazer til 10, got a Q&A panel with the 00 movie director and Sunrise producer.

Bought me a naked small bust figure model for drawing (Big boobs don't suit meh drawings very well)

Looking forward to tomorrow M&G and Kurosaki Maon concert. ROCK IT OUT~!

i must agree the concert was amazing... I too hope to see her perform live... Fucking Epic night.

Day 3 is over and Me, Pervy, and I saw gotta head back to Arizona so we wont be able to attend the Q & A... This past weekend has been well....... EPIC! from the Hatsune Miku concert to meeting Jacob and Mike, to meeting all of my fakku broski's and chillin, and the bomb threat. I'll upload pics of the users I hung out with and pics of cosplayers later. First AX ever...

Anime Expo 2011 Rating - 9/10

AX Rating 8.5/10...now I will agree that the con itself was awesome,but the problems where abound. It really started with the 3 hour lines which was ridiculous in the first place then it went to the "premes" as I called them getting in first everywhere then went on to the staff not doing there job sometimes...

as for day 3: it was fairly good, the fakku x danny choo meet up was fun. Talked with Kawaiin Punch and Looking4moar for like ever, got a mirai poster signed by Danny himself(such a nice guy really really cool talking to him). hung out with Looking4moar like all day just doing random stuff, went and watched WORKING!!!!(first four eps) but the people running it kept skipping the opening theme. walked around the vendor hall alot more and ended up meeting Steve Blum again which was awesome, got him to say his line as Garcia Hotspur from Shadows Of The Damned. some how we ended up walking all the way over to this subway for lunch/dinner, then came back and walked the vendor hall again...I forced myself to buy another figure(Ui Hirasawa) so now I have both Ui and Ritsu(yay!). got even more pics which will be coming soon, will probably upload them through mediafire some how in a zip file for peeps to download.

finished off the day at the Visual Novel/Eroge panel which was a lot funner than I thought it would be...kinda makes me wish I had a better comp to start playing some of those games that where talked about.

so thanks to Mike and Jacob and all the Fakku broski's for coming out to LA for the fun...had a great time. see you all once we get back to AZ!

WHY i am so sad i didnt go to AX day 3 but i did go on day 2 and it was epic i got to talk with jacob for a while about league of legends and i was able to pick up a Momoka get it signed then took a pic with jacob (which will be put up at a later date once i get my friends camera). the last thing i did for the day that was fakku related was meet one of jacobs room mates in artist alley. thanks alot for the great time jacob :D

My AX experience is still high and truly grateful. Sure there was some hiccups here and there, but that is to be expected. What I did - or rather what I do - was going to concerts. I attended to all the concerts and each of them are great in their own right. Anyway, what I was really excited was going to the Fakku panels. I went to the "Hentai worth watching" and the "Fakku Q&A" panel. If anyone wants to know me, I was the guy to asked the question to Jacob about his Mom found the site. Great time I had! I wish I could of made it to the Danny Chop & Fakku meetup and the bi-shoujo panel, but life throws you lemons and you just have to burn someone's house down. Overall, this year's AX by itself, I give it a 8/10. In comparison to the previous years at the LACC, I would give them the same score of 8/10.

Thank you Fakku for coming out here again!! Love the hen-tie shirt! I will wear it quite a lot! However the Fakku shirt that Mike and Jacob signed, I am going to treasure it!

I didn't have a badge at all and just walked there hoping to get inside the dealers hall and i couldn't manage to do that sadly. I saw this Nel in her final form and like walked behind her as they were taking pics so I might've gotten in someone's pics in the bg but i doubt anyone wants to put a pic up of a fat man that looks like a farmer on the internet. Besides that there wasn't anything interesting about ax for me and my no money :(
