@casenumber00:
Not 100% complete, but:
Summary of Eroge & Visual Novels panel
[*]†¢ Yume Miru Kusuri: A Drug That Makes You Dream - 3 high school girls personifying Japan's contemporary problems; kawaiiso bullied girl, girl under pressure to succeed who starts smoking to rebel, batshit crazy girl (likes anal)
[*]†¢ Clannad - no H content
[*]†¢ Tomoyo After - Clannad spinoff
[*]†¢ Fate/stay night - Magic/fantasy setting, involves pair-based combat(?); 3 routes to play through. Also recommended as an introduction to the eroge genre.
[*]†¢ Swan Song - takes place just after a catastrophic natural disaster in Industrial Revolution-ish Europe; people struggling to survive; society is breaking down
[*]†¢ Wanko to KurasÅ - takes place in a world where pets are catgirls/doggirls/etc.; you raise your pet; fairly loli [Download]
[*]†¢ Sengoku Rance - turn-based strategy; conquer feudal-ish Japan to sex up the princesses [Download]
[*]†¢ Katawa Shoujo - spawned on 4chan; involves high school classmates w/ various physical handicaps (including legless girl, somehow very chatty deaf-mute girl, blind girl, burn victim girl, etc.) [Q&A w/ devs]
They were all recommended as superb experiences; i.e. none of them were
solely "this is just so damn strange we had to point it out" (despite how some of the synopses may sound). Not all had English translations available; "Please Support the Official Release!".
Whether Swan Song includes the option to take advantage of an autistic girl is unconfirmed. Props to Jacob's homeboy for finding a girlfriend who enjoyed and wasn't totally freaked out by Wanko to KurasÅ. Also, Jacob apparently thinks Japanese college students wear seifuku... XD
[Edit: Added Wanko to KurasÅ's actual name;
thanks Nekohime.]
Now, can someone
please similarly summarize the "Hentai Worth Watching" panel?
Why the hell did I choose a 1-day pass... This is what I get for being a Con virgin!
K-On! concert FTW though. (I was too late to get in on Mikunopolis.)
