I have been to about 9 conventions, all in Sweden. I really like it, my favorite is Närcon in Örebro and I can't wait for the next one!

As sexual reasons are foremost in why I enjoy anime I describe myself as a bit of a closet fan (which when you have a mouth like mine means that I actually shut up about it sometimes) it is because of this that I feel out of place and perverted when I am with other anime fans. So I tend to stay away from most conventions.

Lol, just the one for me, it's been a battle to see whether I should go or not. Unfortunately, it was a pretty crap year for the con, but at least I got some stuff. It's also the only real convention I can go to since I have no time or money to get out of my home town, but it's alright if only to hang around like-minded people.

It's only been recent that I started going to conventions - may be game or anime conventions. I haven't gotten to the point of going too far or abroad for one, it's somehow impractical considering my situation. In any case, I like going to these conventions, you learn stuff, meet great people >_<

Otakon and AnimeUsa but I always end up spending to little, I must get atleast 100 vol of manga at my next con.

Yep, I'm a lonely otaku. All my friends aren't into anime/manga... and neither is my girlfriend, haha.
So, I just wanted to know if I could still have fun at a convention even if I were alone. Hehe, I've already got a costume in mind 8)

I go to 2 cons in the year.
CNAnime is decent but its lumped in with pop culture schmaze and it's corporate.
Anime North is the one that I look forward to because there's true fan vibe.

There are several conventions during year here, and try to attend as many I can, but lataly I been very busy to attend all XD

Anime Boston, Connecticon, Big Apple Anime Fest (when it existed), Otakon. .. Does New York Comic-con and Wizard World Philidelphia count?
In any case, I actually met up with ya, Jacob, at Anime Boston. I was the guy in line for, .. I believe one of the hentai events, .. which pointed out your shirt and how much I loved the site. =P
