Otakon Redux (With pics!)

i am truely sorry i couldn't be there guys to have dinner. you no the saying "he who tries to catch two rabbits ends up with none." i left the group to get my Guilty Gear tourney ticket and when i came back, my cell said 7:18, i couldn't find anyone. i went back to the kon to enter the tourney only to realize that i lost my ticket so i can't enter the tourney! O_O

in the end, i was left hungry, bored, and alone. it was really my fault but i do regret that there were things i could've done to prevent this from occurring. but alas maybe next year!

had fun, camera broke on the first day, got emo and went home early. came back with a new camera, took many pictures, got murdered in guily gear and blazblue (never played it before and couldn't learn noel moves). didn't go to any anime showings or panels tho which is kinda a let down. saw many of my friends. saw my bus stalker girl, made new friends, told jokes, yelled "BUTT SCRATCHER!" went home, missed class on the following monday cuz i couldn't make it out of bed XD. plan to go next year! =D

i have uploaded all my otakon 09 pictures to my photobucket. if i get around to making a facebook, they may be there too. when i find them in the 300 pictures i took, i'll link the ones with the fakku group to this site, and maybe some of the ones i really enjoyed as well ^-^

im actually pretty proud of how my pics turned out this year. it was worth it to spend some cash on a new camera.

its cost's $55 for a badge. 3 day weekend, $65 at the door. everything from games, videos, panels are free, but if you plan to buy things in the dealers room or artist gallery, its gonna cost you. FYI food aint free! i went with 300 minus cost of the badge and was drained of it ALL and still couldn't get everthing i wanted (got a hat, emote for the hat, bag, keychain, some leather coin bag or something, two doujins, an artbook, and several prints of artwork). i don't no how much it cost to travel tho

I was there at Otakon, and was the one that asked Jacob if he was Raze the first time I ran into him (lol). I spent an hour at 6:00pm saturday to find you guys and ask where the dinner was going to be, and I couldn't find you, :(

It was quite disappointing, and now I feel bad that I missed out on that...

Now that I know the con center layout well, I'll have a better location planned for next year so that no one misses out. Sorry you missed us!

yeah, next time if the meeting spot is announced on the site I'll definitely be there, but I'm happy. I got my hen-tie T-shirt at Otakon along with a few bishoujo games, models, and clannad figurines (I picked up the last Fuko Ibuki! It took forever to find...starfish power ftw!)

It was right after taking a picture of him that I got a weird idea heh ... I went up to the guy ... and asked him if he'd do a video where he corners a random guy (me), and does what HG does best in those situations. I had no idea what he was gonna do specifically, and I played along =^_^=
