Fakku! Awards (Anime/Hentai/Forums)

Your welcome. I wish for you to stay dedicated on promoting this so one day Chairman Jacob himself makes it official.

I'll continue to promote it, but it won't get anywhere without the support of the community and staff.

Would anime from every season ever (aka all anime) qualify, or just what's new this/last season/year?

The focus would be on the content of 2011. Although we could add a "Best older series" award.

Edit: I just gave Jacob a PM and he said that he doesn't have time to make this an official ceremony. So if its gonna be done, then it'll have to be unofficial.

Aw, that sucks. An official Fakku! Awards would have been sweet. I like the idea of it being a kind of recommendation list for newcomers. I know when I first came to Fakku! I didn't know where to start. I essentially started off in the nosebleeds. :3 But having this as a front page poll would definitely get a lot more votes, rather than a poll only in the random/ib/serious sections. Just my opinions.

I think it is a really good idea. Especially for series which aren't as popular! I would love to bring them out into the light and also find series worth watching/reading!

If it was talked about in 2011, then no. As a rule of thumb check the date of posts before you necro bump old posts up into existence.
