User Added Download Links

Users can add their own download links to any manga, game, or video on the site. However, the links can only be hosted on a short list of free file hosts, nothing else. We are open to adding and removing file hosts from this list, but we will be very strict about those that we allow. Currently accepted hosts are:http://www.mediafire.com/http://www.megaupload.com/http://www.megaporn.com/http://www.rapidshare.com/ To add download links to content, click the "Download Links" tab on the view page. The click "Add Download Link" in the top right corner. Spoiler: Also there is an order to how the links are displayed on the download page (obviously links on the top of the list will be downloaded more by the users, so they are more valuable), the links are sorted by the reputation of the user that uploaded them (in descending order). So if Jacob adds a link and has 92 reputation, Nikon adds a link and has 13 reputation, and then Raze adds a link and has 81 reputation, the links will look like this: Jacob (92 reptuation) link Raze (81 reptuation) link Nikon (13 reptuation) link We will be giving preferential treatment to links provided by the original translation group. Currently we do not give any preferential treatment to files hosted directly on FAKKU! (though this will most likely change in the future).

hotfile,depositfile, and some other upload host has been "banned" from fakku.

Try to use Megaupload, mediafire or Rapidshare if you want to upload to fakku.

For now, please Use the upload section if you want to upload your "manga and doujin collection", at the moment fakku doesn't need anymore contributors for uploading it to the main site.

Have the conditions for who can add links changed from what they were about a year ago? When ever I go to add a mirror now it says I don't have permission to add a link.

I've just added an MF download link for this: https://www.fakku.net/viewmanga.php?id=2595

without any problems.

I've uploaded links in the past, but it won't let me anymore :\ I've tried both MF and MU links, and tried adding them to files to which I haven't added a mirror along with one to which already has a mirror of mine from a while back.

I too have problems for uploading a mirror.

I wanted to upload a link that I uploaded to Megaupload for a doujin that only have mirrors for uploading, hotfile, etc, and said that I didn't have permission.

It seems to work for me. I don't know the reason why it wouldn't work for you though. Anyway, download link added.
